Shrewsbury are a tough team to play on a good day - let alone 1-0 down. Definitely a test of mettle in the second half. I think we may need a dose of Campbell.
It'll be interesting to see if Bloomfield brings on subs earlier than Ainsworth because this team sure looks like it needs it.
He seems to like the three centre backs pushing up very high, with Scowen dropping in to form a back-one quite a lot of the time (though tbf I only noticed it after we went behind).
Games against Shrewsbury are generally attritional, much like games against Wimbledon and Accrington. I’d be relatively content with a draw; delirious with a win.
Shrewsbury are not dissimilar from ourselves, very organised and tough to break down. Not a team you want to go behind against. Would be very happy if we can claw this back and get a draw.

Calm down Gabs
Pitch is rubbish, which I think is why we’re vacating midfield and just looking to play long diagonals.
I hope Blooms has a functioning hairdryer
What is their number 24 doing? Goes and fetches the ball for our free kick after their man booted it away.
Then picks it up and throws it off the pitch. Ref bending over oblivious.

Let’s hope Blooms can get them going, this is well below recent standards.
What happened for their goal?
Derby losing 3-1, it might be their play off place we have to target!
Bolton and Barnsley seem to win every week apart from when we play them!

I’d take too long to describe what happened, I’m afraid @Otter87.
We can’t string five passes together. And our second ball play is poor, and that was so brilliant last week against Bolton.

No Wycombe manager to take over during the EFL era has won their first game in charge
I’m sure two of the Shrewsbury players nearly started a scrap between themselves at one point.
Why are they playing this god-awful cover of Erasure's 'A Little Respect'?
Is that what it is. I’ve heard worse blasting the eardrums at Adams Park.

Here we go. Ready to roll.
Wing just sprinted backwards. Bit worrying!
Alright Mr Cheery 😄
Let's worry about getting a few more shots on target first
Vokes having his shirt lifted (if you’ll excuse the expression).
Oh Mustard - that would have been a fantastic team goal!
I can't help thinking that if Wing gets a chance to shoot from around the edge of the box, the net is going to ripple.
They also gave the wrong QPR score somehow
Good start to the second half but truly awful shot from Hanlan
Keeping it on the deck. Good.
Wtf was that
Got to be doing better in that position. What a horrible pitch. Between that and the wind it feels pretty unplayable today
Forino’s headers go twice as far as Willis’s !
Shrews are a real throwback to 2017-2019 era Wycombe. Masters of the dark arts and making the game truly horrible for their opponents
