I see that the league in its infinite wisdom is running a full set of fixtures on Tuesday Feb 14th - so not only a potentially cold wet midwinter night but valentines night as well further reducing potential customers. There is only one game scheduled the following week - 21st Feb.
Yet season after season, no games are played on the Tuesday following the first Saturday of the season. ! To save people checking the first round of the league cup is the following week
Roses are red, violets are blue, Valentine's Day is an elaborate marketing scheme designed to remove money from the gullible and funnel it to Big Chocolate.
Either go to the blocks they mention in the spiel and look for a free seat without a "red dot" (marked for season ticket holders), or do what loads of us have done on a normal game, look for one of the rows of empties and plant yourself there.
Last few copies of the latest Wanderer will be on sale tonight. If nothing else you can pull all the pages out and plaster them round your body as an extra layer of insulation. Only £2!
200k+ per year over 5 years doesn't sound hideous if you're genuinely prepared to lose £3.5m a year in order to try and go up and are also entertaining a rebuild and new road. Something about mending the roof while the sun shines...
You do raise a good idea - rather than shutting off 2 blocks of the FA stand for the away fans at the next home game, why don’t the club just mark each seat with either a red dot (away team fans), or a blue dot (home team fans). Saves the spend on stewards and that menacing looking wall inside of the FA.

It’s never made sense to me that in a season stretching from August to May we play so many midweeks in winter.
Take a hairdryer and a mop
This is also the most convenient game to call off

I did yes, but I'll admit I did it whilst having the right hump.. what did I miss
Instructions about how to move your seat...
Ffs I can’t get there until kick off so my chances of getting a seat seem pretty slim.
With a digital ticketing system I thought you’d be able to assign different seats easily. Seemingly not.

Exeter have literally just called their game against Barnsley off.... bet the Barnsley fans that have travelled are happy !

Surely there won’t be many empties though. Even if you assume we’ve old sold half the tickets in each area, it already full?
Not sure it'll be that close to a sell out will it?

We really want to avoid closing an entire stand - we don't want Oxford to feel like it is a home game!
Don’t know if you have noticed but it’s quite chilly out there.
It’s a Welsh tribute to JJ’s long service 😉
Do I need to take the helicopter to Vipienne tonight as this was originally a Saturday match, or can I watch from home in Blighty?
Lost track of the rules.

The official site sez no helicopter required for this one. Plus you get the excellence of Disco Danny on co-comms.
Club web site post says avoid red dots, Facebook post says avoid white dots. Cue mayhem!
Looking on the bright side we still have half a stand more than Oxford!
Red dots are the enemy (or something, idk, I haven't played Call of Duty for years)
As it was Chinese New Year on Sunday shouldn't we replace the fireworks with sky lanterns? I realise I've left this a bit late.

Smashing. Not only have I just saved the planet by sitting in the dark for 90 minutes, but I’ll also save on copter juice.
Also a chance to get your leg over
Chuckled at this.
But I can't remember us ever having such problems in the past?
