Wonder if Kaikai follows him out, might make sense to freshen things up and give him a chance elsewhere if people want him.
A while back I would have suggested full back and centre mid, and probably central defence needed a lot of work but if they can mostly keep fit and keep up recent form we might not need much. Anyone got a crystal ball for injuries and form until may?
One player I was impressed with last season was Theo Corbeanu of MK Dons. Wonder if we could get him on loan. On Ipswichs radar apparently. Where did Boateng go after MK? He was good too.
Without wishing to denigrate the talent (recently untested, to be fair) of Max’s present understudy, reassurance that the rules would definitely permit us to bring in a goalkeeper on an emergency loan basis if he was injured would certainly be very welcome.
I don’t know the rules but I trust that GA and Dobbo do. There’s no way they’ll be allowing Dickinson to play any more league games. Therefore, we will be able to bring in an emergency goalkeeper.
Sorry if this has been covered before but how many spaces do we now have in our squad? Did Horgan have to leave so that Thompson could be registered or did we have a space for him to fill once he was fit again?
If the list is open until the window closes it's probably pretty fluid up til then , how many non (and rarely) playing adults do you reckon we have registered?
in the most recent interview (subscription only) posted yesterday on Wanderers TV, GA's take is that he's fine working with what he has, and he'd rather keep hold of existing players (with Mehmeti being the obvious allusion there). He says there may be one addition, but he's not looking for many signings.
Don't understand the clamour for Uche, wages will be high, very poor in the air, very difficult to fit into a team pattern. Goal scoring record none to impressive, big strong bustling target man, but not the easiest to fit into our current style.

I think Horgan is given a tough time by fans. He is a very good player, just maybe a victim of our system and not fitting in.
I hope he does well for Stevenage.

I'm absolutely terrified of Max getting injured
Maybe we're trying to find a goalie coach that can Barry Richardson when needed.
Have heard on the grapevine that Connor Wickham may be going to Ireland to sign for Cork City - nothing confirmed yet though.
"The grapevine" is as reliable a source as making something up in your head.
Unless it was a wine joke? Grapevine, Cork?
We'll just get someone in on loan
That usually goes pretty smoothly
Would we be eligible for an emergency loan?

Macualey Bonne would be a useful option.
Randell Williams gone to Bolton

Just something I've seen floating around the internet
Not a chance out of the window as Dickinson has played too many games
What if Dickinson is himself out on loan with no recall clause?

Just checked and a goalkeeper counts as pro once they've made 5 starts in any comp excluding the PJT (Dickinson has made 6).
I guess this might work, but we wouldn't want to leave ourselves down to two GKs in the meantime.
Do we NEED to have a goalkeeper on the bench all the time?
Yes

I think I still have a spreadsheet 😂
Thompson played before the deadline so I guess not.
We had one space left before Horgan left which was filled by Curtis.
I still think we will see one or two loan signings coming in with three or four more leaving (including development squad and including on loan).
That's right, so back to one spare now

Didn't that list have a mistake on it when the EFL published it a little while back?

If Mehmeti goes for a pretty penny I’d quite like us to bring back Uche Ikpeazu if at all possible.
