Wakely is an interesting one but good to see him get a chance with one eye on what we might want or need to do in January. Good to see Taff. Bit harsh on Horgan not to get a start?
Depends how far you want to go back, but ‘form’ usually refers to more recent games. If we can lose just one in six despite not hitting top form I’d say that is encouraging for the future, especially when we get injured players back.
@glasshalffull@ReadingMarginalista that’s why I said the ‘perception,’ of poor form. 11 points from 18 isn’t poor, it’s not scintillating, but it’s not poor. The issue is the last three results should have been straightforward home wins, and they were awful.
Mr Couhig's Grand Plan is under pressure from 11 blokes from Walsall. I really can't see that an access road and bigger stand would have improved that performance. Mind, it would make it easier to leave early . . .
I saw that myself and nearly broke the glass on me mobile tapping repeatedly with me index finger.
Audio, with @bluntphil and Brian Jeeves, is excellent as usual but it’s obvious that Walsall have had much the better of the first half.
Wouldn’t dare talk about concentrating on the League just yet. But, unless the likes of Mehmeti, Horgan and…….damn, I can’t remember who else is on the bench……are brought on early doors (some hope!) I think that will be the only option.
Absolutely rubbish. Can only get better in the second half. Not as if we playing a completely experimental side. Hopefully they have had the hair drier treatment.

I get so used to calling our keeper by his first name that for a second I thought we'd resigned Pryzbeck!
And the trains aren't on strike but they thought they might be on strike so have only a limited service

Last 6 league games: W3 D2 L1.

Last 10: W4, D2, L4
Thats our strongest team with injuries, bar Mehmeti on the bench.
Nice to see Gareth wanting to win a cup game for a change by putting out a strong team.

2,871 with 490 away fans here for a 1-1 draw
Is Tyla’s loan over now?

Maybe poor if you are aiming for automatic promotion maybe but that's been done to death too. Good win never hurts regardless.
Unless he knows promotion is impossible and thinks a cup run will paper the cracks.
I've scared myself now.
I think Vokes is reaching the point of playing to keep his place now. Front three of GMac, Mehmeti and Hanlan feels much more appealing.
is there any video today? Can get audio but the video not working from Belgium - nor any error messages
No. Not on live anywhere as far as I know.
Do you think that he hasn't started Mehmeti so that he won't be cup-tied ahead of a Jan move??
No.
Is this a training game ?! 2nd best all over so far
Thanks. It was just that the watch live option is active on the page that I thought it was available
Balls
Well.. we're no good when leading at half time. One way of changing that issue.
Set piece again. Who is coaching us on set pieces these days? It used to be our strength in both attack and defence and now neither.
I’ve got to say, that was absolutely terrible.
Hanlan just looks weak, going over far too easily.
For the goal, no one moved, just watched him volley it in.
We’re carrying no threat at all.
Need a big improvement 2nd half.
Crikey! This is poor. The only positive being we're only 1 down.
It's painful watching us try and play it out from the back, they're all over us and we're constantly giving the ball away.
Massive 2nd half improvement needed.

Don’t worry. Our legendary 2nd half performances will stand is in good stead.

Sorry, we're trying to play out from the back? I just spat my tea out.
And I spilt half a kilogram bag of garden peas on the worktop, under the toaster and on the floor. Good job they’re Asda’s - ie cheap.
