I'm not an angry person @eric_plant but thanks for your passing judgment. I should have used some moderation @Cyclops - I am sorry if I upset you.
I get all the remarks about being traditional and keeping in line with our heritage. It's just a little boring the amount of times I read grown men commenting on "wearing the wrong colours". Before, it was complaining about wearing change kits 2 or 3 times a season and never getting to see the change kit. Now we are complaining that we see it too much.
As a parent who has just spent £68 on the red change strip for my son, I'm delighted that he gets to see us wear it. If I'd bought him the gold strip, I would have felt aggrieved as I've never seen it in action (in the flesh).
In Ipswich's case, they decided to wear black at home. From a business perspective - probably a PR stunt for the Sky cameras. All black "blackout" kit sponsored by Ed Sheeran. If they can make money out of that and help their club grow, then surely its beneficial?
They've got us talking about it.....
I think we need to learn to accept that we are in 2022. Times are tough. People and businesses need to use every tool in their toolbox to try and make a few extra £. Get on with it and move on. Blue, red or gold. I still love Wycombe (Not so much in gold 😀)

In 20ish years on the gasroom i've never seen this complaint!
As for PR, last night could have been Hearts v Real Madrid, just as when we play in red, we could be any team.
What do you mean by Hearts v Real? It's clear that wasn't that. They were promoting their 3rd kit which is a unique design ("blackout") sponsored by Ed Sheeran. Not sure where Real Madrid come into this.

Please try to exercise some moderation. The clash last evening between black and maroon was far worse, surely, than between blue and white.
You seem angry
I can't see anywhere in there that would have stopped both Ipswich and Derby playing in their first choice kits
And as far as I'm aware there is no form of colour blindness which renders the sufferer unable to distinguish between blue and white

Wowzer Nottingham Forest have just beaten Liverpool 1-0
Strange counter.
Where did I say anything about the Gasroom?

Fair enough. I’ve never heard the complaint anywhere that we don’t wear the away kit enough.
what colours spring to mind when you see maroon and black? Not Ipswich and Derby.
a great day when Wycombe and Forest both win…rare this season 😔
I was a little put out when I did about 10 aways last season and only saw us wear the gold kit about once last season!
Why does anything need to spring to mind?
It was Ipswich vs Derby. Ipswich trying to promote their new black kit that they won't wear otherwise.
Black and maroon definitely doesn't remind me of Hearts and Real Madrid. Real Madrid are whiter than white.
Probably best to drop this. I don't understand the argument against what I was saying because that's what it was.
I think of a fresh bruise. After a week or two it turns into Oxford v Plymouth, or West Brom change kit
Limbs videos are one of the things wrong with modern football. Except for this one, which is brilliant:

Forest should have their win chalked off for Awoniyi's refusal to celebrate against his old club. He didn't make a single appearance for Liverpool!
I am so tired of that nonsense. If an ex-Wycombe player celebrated against us I am sure we would survive. Enjoy your goals, people!
Leicester had 4 shots v Wolves...
...and won 4-0.
And Wolves had 21 shots and 61% of possession!
Oh boooooo, they had 5 (although still only 4 OT).
See the reverend getting his excuses in after Luton got slapped 4-0 in their first league derby at Watford in a while.
I knew it
I’m honoured

Oh, those Russians!
What chance do we reckon that Iran are actually chucked out of the World Cup for arming Russia?
I'll lay you a million. FIFA run the world cup
Nice to hear the Reverend trotting out the excuses after their 4-0 drubbing at Watford on Sunday. 😉
Turns out we had two games today!

Looks like Wigan are in financial trouble. The players haven't been paid this month, apparently the third time this year.

I remember watching him play for Margate.
Sounds like VAR has been embarrassing itself all over the champions league tonight.
The new colour-blindness directive doesn't appear to have reached the UCL yet. https://twitter.com/KieranMaguire/status/1585557011273596929?t=VXFyNx0i3IfhzKvwLeHlNg&s=19
