Have you noticed that there has been a big change with Club's looking at Assistant Managers and Coaches to fill Manager slots at the moment rather than the normal named managers going from club to club? Two of these spring straight to my mind are Matt Bloomfield and Michael Beale (QPR)?
Do you think Haaland will ever play in the World Cup for Norway? Last time they qualified was 1998. In fact, who was the last ballon d'or winner who's country wasn't in the top 20?
George Weah. I think Norway will qualify for the next WC - finished three points off a play-off spot for 2022 and have a pretty decent team, plus UEFA gets another three qualifiers in 2026 as it goes up to 48 teams (ugh).
Honestly, I know we joke about GA leaving for the compo and then coming back after being sacked, but it is almost genuinely possible to execute this strategy.
GA goes to whichever 2nd tier club is interested, and Wycombe get a big payout.
GA leads them to a secure midtable finish but gets sacked at the end of the season anyway.
GA comes back and Dobbo, who has held down the fort in his absence, slots back in to his #2.
We use the compensation funds to get into the second tier.
Forest looked like a team of individuals with little cohesion which is hardly surprising after signing 21 new players (which apparently is a record in British football). Perhaps the £146m could have been spent more wisely by signing quality over quantity?
What’s going on with all those Wycombe flags in the Rangers end? It looked like Villa Park 2001 all over again (especially as Gerrard and Owen were in attendance)...
Jude Bellingham becomes the first teenager to captain a team in the Champions League. I wouldn't be surprised if he went on to break Bobby Moore's record as the youngest England captain. Such a star already.

Poor Nathan Bishop

Neil Critchley is another interesting one: went from Liverpool U23 to Blackpool - then to Villa to replace Beale as Gerrard's no2

Matt Taylor from Exeter is going to Rotherham.
Scenes when Mehmeti nutmegs Haaland in the 2026 WC final before scoring the winner for Albania.
Now there is a caption competition!
Maguire: "Ah yes, I'M the defensive problem lads!"
Bishop: "If I look hard enough I can stare through this mess and all the way to High Wycombe."

19 managers got a nice little bonus in compensation. It's rumoured that the Watford manager sacked last week is being chased by Middlesbrough.

Ah. The Luton Town system
Wycombe legend Robert Jones is the ref for Leicester - Forest
All the work Leicester have done on defensive headers is paying off…oh.
Forest…oh dear
I guess the old adage is proved correct: foxes always find their way through the forest.
Touché! Forest have to have a good 11 in there

Rafa to the rescue?
Yeah Nadal will get them to pull their shorts up
Top stuff from the maestro Jonathan Wilson on City here
Benitez, Nadal, Marquez...
I think that's all the Rafas?
probs, idk many! Benitez is used to turning up at short notice and would be a good choice to take over a football manager esque team.

I'm guessing @DJWYC14 was involved - isn't he a Rangers fan too?
Kegs Chauke scored for Exeter (his loan club) against Southampton U21 (his parent club) in the paint pot trophy last night. Wonderful stuff.
i feel like there’s not been enough discussion about these gorgeous Celtic away shirts.

@Shev and others who didn’t see it, this is what I was referring to...
Maybe they were just reminding Liverpool about the time they faced the mighty Wycombe
