Very good to see. And the Ali Al-Hamidi/KaiKai axis seems to be functioning well again. Loved the image of a Forino tackle resulting in the ball landing on top of the goal net - I assume Norwich end. But typical of the energy that Forino puts into the game. I’d love to see him on the right of a back three (obviously with Nick Freeman at right wingback).
If I remember correctly, his gripe was to do with the away club profiting from streaming passes when they don't get any money from ticket sales. Like on Saturday, Sheff Wed won't have made any money off Wycombe fans watching on WTV, will they?
Problem gambling is a serious issue that the industry/regulators aren't doing nearly enough to tackle.
However is it really news that a sponsor shares profits with the organisation it sponsors? Phrasing it as 'taking money from the supporters' is a bit silly. I realise this won't be a popular view
Yeah, I dare if you asked most supporters they would say they if they lost a bet they'd rather it went to their team than the betting firm they placed the bet with.
In my more hopeful moments i think that all it would take is one major nation to pull out and more would follow. It's a decent gesture from Hummel, but a bit hollow.

There would be if it was a plant based egg, seems as tho everything can be plant based these days!
Well... https://www.loveoggs.com/
I knew there would be something out there @ReturnToSenda, just couldn't be bothered to find it!
I hear their stick and carrot approach to management has borne much fruit. They could be quite the banana skin when we play them.
I heard he may have moved on from FGR because of the wages...couldn't make ends meat.
Lettuce hope not!
However bad things are at the moment, let's just be thankful that Wycombe are not Gareth Southgate's England. Bleak.
That didn’t age well @ReturnToSenda !
Apologies to anyone in Widmer End and neighbouring areas for that loudly shouted expletive.
I'll have to remember to try it when we're 2-0 down on Saturday... It's a gift.
Don’t think Maguire or Pope will get MoM.
Rather unfortunate sub-title during weather forecast just now - “highly destructive Harry Kane heading towards Cuba”.
The Pope is German after all
The sooner football completely disassociates itself from the gambling industry, the better. https://twitter.com/uglygame/status/1574718276852019201
No Accrington fans, at home or abroad, are buying season passes?
I don't think they have a streaming service. They pulled out of iFollow - Holt is really against it.
I see. It'd awful listening to the other teams commentary every week if we'd done something similar.
Away fans can still watch the Accrington away game on their own club's platform though can't they?
If i'm understanding that correctly, it makes his gesture utterly daft and all he's actually doing is taking a revenue stream away from his own club?
What would the political and media reaction be if around 100 masked UK nationals attacked German families drinking in a German pub?
If I remember correctly, his gripe was to do with the away club profiting from streaming passes when they don't get any money from ticket sales. Like on Saturday, Sheff Wed won't have made any money off Wycombe fans watching on WTV, will they?
That is a totally legit moan.
It is bizarre that you can take money out of another club's home fixture like that .
But they'll still be doing it, just he won't have the revenue of his own club having 23 fans watching their games.
That betting revenue is truly shocking. Surely that should be disclosed across the leagues to the public.
Accrington's iFollow stats are as expected aren't they?

These things evolve don't they. Cigarette advertising was fair game everywhere not that long ago, and now you barely see any.
Booze advertising in sports has reduced massively. I dare say the betting stuff will go that way mid term.
But what about sugary products? A big problem with obesity and health problems, but for now off the hook scot free.
Yeah, I dare if you asked most supporters they would say they if they lost a bet they'd rather it went to their team than the betting firm they placed the bet with.
I see the IMF are trying to tackle Liz Truss's gambling with the countries economy!
I think Hummel have struck the right tone here, although the cynic in me feels they could have pulled out altogether https://twitter.com/sportingintel/status/1575124727152234500
