On the Tafa issue, I am not surprised really. He is getting to an age where his next contract may well be his last one, so he needs to weigh up his options. However, things can change dramatically if we were to go on a winning run and achieve a top six finish once again.
I think Anis has a higher ceiling than Scott Twine to be honest. That’s not saying his current output is equivalent yet. But he’s two years younger in a side that arguably doesn’t suit his strengths.
Think he would benefit greatly with another goal threat in the side because my impression recently is that if he doesn’t do his best work in the first minutes other sides pile on him as our only goal threat.
Fortunately the little genius has produced in those early stages.
As sensational as Anis obviously is, we're only seeing a small glimpse of what he's capable of imo. The prospect of what he could do in a team properly suited to him is kind of scary.
The incredible fact is that Mehmeti had only two runs with the ball in the first half, one of which resulted in Vokes’ well taken equaliser.
Early in the second half he (Mehmeti) became briefly more involved in a more central position, slightly reminiscent of the second half at Fleetwood when he found himself leading the line.
As someone said earlier, think how much more impact he would make if he was being fed killer passes on the deck from someone in the Bannan mould. To be fair, JJ was doing that quite a bit earlier in the season.
If we could get back to the earlier line up with Horgan and McCleary in there as well, plus Scowen back, there's plenty of players who can feed him to feet.

Fulham are watching Anis on a weekly basis and all the players know. No bid yet.
Tafa has refused to sign a new long term deal.
via a source I deem as very trustworthy. Believe or disbelieve at your own leisure.
I would expect scouts of all clubs outside the big 6 to be regularly watching Anis. If not, their scouting system needs examining.
Agreed, although this perhaps has more weight as it’s in person scouting each game.

If Anis did leave I would much prefer it to be straight to the PL and a (in my book) likeable club such as Fulham.
Edit: As long as they don't then turn around and loan him to another L1 club for minutes!
So the Taff's rumour mill starts again. Forgive for ignoring these ones.
No doubt arranged in Revs

Not sure about Durham in the Wearside League Division 1.
Pity my eyes skipped over Beaconsfield and I stopped at Durham! Having returned to the list, I now realise what a fool I’ve made of myself.
But every day’s a school day and at least I now know that Durham were in the Football League a hundred years ago.

Stirring the pot and all but Fulham keeping tabs I’m told via reliable source.
A brilliant assist today.
Unreal skills with so little space.
Just imagine how good he would be with someone like Bannon behind him threading balls into the box for him to latch onto.
Quick Mehmeti question for a state.
When was his last second half goal or assist?

Agreed. Also, when we were 1-0 down we came out of our shell and started playing and bringing Anis into the game, the result being his amazing assist.
Shame we can’t get a playmaker into our set up to pull the strings as an enabler.
Is it really possible to come out of our shell after conceding in the first 40 seconds?
Must have been a thin shell.

Good points @Malone.
I’m Garath’s biggest supporter but I think it’s worth a try starting Hanlan ahead of him…we need something to start clicking,
.
On McCleary's form this season, very definitely.
But on his top level, definitely not, as McCleary is one of the first couple of names on the sheet.
