A point wouldn’t be a bad result here at all, just got to hold on now. Wing looks spent again so I’d consider bringing him off for someone like Kaikai, with Freeman moving into midfield.
We definitely shrank to the occasion there. Remember when we used to come back on teams?

In all seriousness, does anyone have an idea why we have switched to this in the last two seasons? Last season was similar for giving up leads instead of coming back.
I know we’re only 9 games in, but I actually think Gab Dutton’s prediction of 13th for us is actually probably a decent bet. I think we’re going to be too up and down this season and won’t string enough victories together (especially against the top sides) in order to really challenge the playoffs.
Really frustrated with our game plan today, we started brilliantly to get the goal and then just tried to camp in our own half the rest of the game and smash long balls to Vokes and Mehmeti, which inevitably just meant we gave the ball back to Derby for endless waves of attacks. Derby definitely upped their game and showed quality, so we have to applaud that, but at the same time our squad is more than capable of going toe to toe with Derby, and I feel we could have had some more positive substitutions earlier in the game rather than just letting the inevitable happen.

Drat.
Inevitable. At least we get the rebate for unused subs.
Didn't see that coming

Well played and well-deserved. Good goal.
We haven’t really played in this half, have we. Some change rather overdue, I think.
Gonna pinch it.
Should’ve done the Wing Horgan sub about 15 mins ago.
Having Conor Hourihane in League One isn't really fair
Yes Wing has been poor. Not sure Freeman and Wing in a 3 man midfield gives us the snap you need away from home.
Horgan to get justice for THAT offside decision
Taff living on the edge. I fear that the next foul is a 2nd yellow
I probably shouldn't have taken until 78 mins to realise their forward is called BARK HUIZEN not the MARK HUGHES i'd assumed it was...
ahem.
Ooh.
*AAH.
Shiiiit - I really wanted to win this one
If you are going to blow a lead, might as well blow it all the way.
They've played well, but what have we done to try and adapt?
Fucking pitiful. Completely negative performance against a shit side. Just let them back in. Absolute garbage show.
Did you think Phil had a cold?
Well done to Derby for coming back and playing with pace and skill, but I’m quite disappointed with our performance having started so very brightly.
I guess cheats do prosper after all

Brilliant save!
Remember when we played nice football for a couple of games?
Much as I hate Derby, it's hard to argue they don't deserve the win. Just heartbreaking we held out so long and lost because of a muffed clearance.
Not sure, but I think you're right about shrinking to the occasion. Feeble.

Hopefully we can get back to trying to play and win games as opposed to grinding negativity.
What game plan?
