Ronaldo Aarons moves from Huddersfield to Motherwell on loan. I remember when joined us reading a Newcastle fan comment that he was brilliant but made of biscuits.
Why not? Granted Brighton are a better going concern right now but he might never get another chance. Say the funds dry up a bit at Brighton, a few signings backfire and they go down , would take him a little bit longer to be fired but it'd still happen.
I get the impression that the setup at the Amex is pretty stable and, as we know all too well, that counts for a lot. It’s early days, I know, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching Brighton this season and I’d be disappointed if he went to Chelsea.
He surely doesn't turn down Chelsea, as he might not keep getting opportunities. Especially if Brighton's current hot spot of form wears off back to midtable and down.
Mid table in the Premier League will suit Brighton surely? Also succeeding with a smaller club is surely better than the built-in failure at a big six? (I accept that I suggest this as a risk adverse crisp addict rather than an ambitious young manager tipped for the national job.)

Swindon lad I believe . Has had spells in the SW but now playing nearer to home up north. Melksham is Bath way much nearer to HW than Tavistock.

Watching WBA v Burnley and absolutely shocked to discover Matt Phillips is still only 31?!
Probably an age thing but I'm always surprised he's older than 21
I’m totally with you. Had to double check too as I still wasn’t convinced.
Does seem to be a long time since he did anything of note.

Max Kretzschmar just about scores a pen to give Wealdstone the lead v old club Woking
Replay appears to show not a pen, player kicked the gound and tripped, yet the tackler didn't protest.
VAR wouldn't have made that mistake ...
The commentators and pundits couldn't decide between themselves whether it was a penalty or not actually
A Keith Scott special.
Chelsea eyeing up Graham Potter as their next head coach
I don’t think he’ll be champing at the bit! Unless he is grossly under-remunerated at Brighton (or perceives himself to be).

He's already reportedly turned down Spurs because of their managerial turnover record and Chelsea is surely worse.

Jamie Carragher doesn’t see Graham Potter as a natural fit at Stamford Bridge. That’s good enough for me and hopefully for the man himself !
He'd be a far better fit at City - if he's happy to wait that long!
Next England Manager so why move to Chelsea?
