I’ve got a feeling Leathers might just be gracing league matches sooner rather than later. He looks like he can unlock a door, particularly with one touch passing. He’s a bit under the radar at the minute but watch this space…
I keep noticing the scorn that this particular competition is held in for some people. However, with no reserve team league for the fringe players to show their worth and gain competitive experience, it must surely be worthwhile. As suggested if you can't agree then just ignore it
It was a perfectly fine competition until the B teams got added. I don't disagree that it's worthwhile for the fringe players in terms of gaining experience, but it would be a tainted victory were we to win it.
Yeah, GA in his post-game interview said it was vital for the dev squad to play in these games to gain proper match fitness, and get used to our high press - he felt that we flagged in the second half as some players weren’t used to that intensity.
He said it’s ok just to organise friendly games to that effect, but better to play games where the result affects something, and in front of fans also - albeit the atmosphere was pretty muted last night despite the best efforts of the terrace (the last comment my own and not GA’s).

At least it wasn't Tom Hiddleston
Fair play to you. Most people I know who find a competition or subject uninteresting or pointless they simply ignore it.
Going the other way is unexpected but interesting.
If only you could follow your own advice with your almost harassment levels of following @ReturnToSenda 🤣 around with daily snipes.
You have a point. Same goes for us all to a certain extent I guess.

It's quite bizarre as GA barely ever name checked him in interviews prior to recent weeks. I'd be keen to see how he does on loan to Vanarama.
He had brief stint on loan at Dulwich Hamlet in the NLS last season, can't find any more detail
This is why I mentioned the club joining an U23 League. I know the club and Dev side aren't big enough yet but this is surely the goal to aim for?
The coaching staff have been pretty dismissive of u23 leagues haven’t they?
There aren’t any we can just join are there?
