Tyla has not done a lot wrong apart from he’s not had a lot to do apart from concede 3 goals. No saves of any significance and every set piece should have a viewing warning it’s so terrifying.
I realise I was woefully over optimistic when I assumed it'd be quite a comfortable job to get a decent keeper in for the first game, bearing in mind there must be 150 or so keepers at champs or premier clubs with only a third or so getting a regular game.
To be 5 games in without sorting it really is baffling though.
Be under no illusion this has been a pretty poor performance.
Mawson glimpses of being Mawson but beyond that it’s been abject. Very little structure. Very little organisation. Something is not right. Injuries for sure but something is off. And it is laughable that we are even close to a play off side. I love Rob’s enthusiasm but this is a delusion.
Better second half but killing ourselves with really soft goals.
Doesn’t take a genius to game plan against us at the moment. Press high to take time away from us and force us to go long to a non-target man, and then float set pieces as close to Dickinson as possible.
I feel we’ve been very un-Wycombe in our prep this season, acting like Sunderland of old who assumed they had a right to be within the promotion spots before a ball had been kicked. I think that’s bred a culture of entitlement and complacency (on and off the field).
We need to stop talking about where we ought to be, and just focus on the basics and let our performances and results dictate where we finish.

No marking and Tyla doesn't look like saving anything
On a positive note, we did stay up that season though.
Tyla struggles to come off his line from corners that third goal was an example. We really have to get a keeper this is silly.
Wing looks unfit
I think everyone knows.
Even those stubbornly arguing he's been fine.
To be fair Exeter have been good. It's not like we're losing to Shrewsbury.
Can’t defend a set piece and toothless up front. That is a combination that will leave us at risk of relegation if it isn’t addressed.
Every man and his dog should be able to tell
this. Not quite sure how he’s still playing.
Hard to see how quickly this form turns around - if Vokes and Taf are mid to long term, then we’re in for a tough season.

I’ve got some great memories of the back end of that season. You’ve cheered me up no end!
A quality keeper, Taf and Vokes fixes most of our issues.
Don't have those 3 for a while and we'll probably have to rethink to a season of consolidation like post Southend final defeat.
Come off it. He’s like a fish out of water. He’s been dreadful.
12 without a win to start that season, wasn't it?
Think Grimmer has given the ball away about 20 times in this game. Just aimless overhit balls down the channel
Al-Hamadi has looked good since coming on
Another thing GA was quoted for was saying that we are looking at a replacement for Bayo. I wonder who that was/is.
Needs to learn to talk more about our squad and less about signings.
Spot on.
Yeh, the first win was like we’d won the whole league.
Stockdale would probably saved the 3rd and collected the 2nd off the goal line. That's the difference. We were totally spoilt with Stockdale in goal

Confidence exudes from the keeper. I even feel it at Sunday league level. Having an extra "skin" to break through allows you to be more expressive.
I believe we have only allowed 12 shots on target through 4 games....and conceded on 8 of those.
I'm fully behind Ainsworth, but fancy waiting til the 94th min to sub Wing when 3-1 down.
Yep.
Some have been saying certain goals weren't 100% down to the keeper, but it's simply not just about the actual goals, it's the whole presence.
Wing finally taken off with 3 mins of added time to go.

Thoroughly depressing so far. Lots of questions to answer for everyone making decisions.
If we don’t have those 3 for a while we’ll be in the bottom 4.
