I'm disappointed that my initial Stranglers pun, teamed with an oblique ecclesiastic reference - are you listening Nathan - didn't get a single thumbs up!
Not sure who gets the anger. The club hired enough staff but none of the agency workers turned up. Filling hospitality jobs is so tough, especially during holiday periods. The country as a whole is short of people to do these roles. Not sure when it will improve
There was a good stock level when they opened at 12noon but judging by the number of people walking by with paper carrier bags the shop probably had a very good day.
Just returned from France and they were complaining that they couldn't get staff in restaurants and bars. Many places had tables closed off due lack of staff. i quite liked the new queuing system in the beer tent. Much faster.
Poor, commented on another thread but I could only get the home top in 7/8 no shorts or socks, also this wasn't available on the rail had to ask at the counter if they had any available and they did.
Got 2 home tops in 1/2 and 3/4 (again no shorts or socks) but these tops aren't the same as the rest due to a cock up by the manufacturers. I'll try an upload a picture now. Still got them due to the kids not being old enough to notice the difference. They were still full price which I thought was a bit odd.
There's two, both with multiple windows. Yesterday one of them was shut completely, the other had only one open window and one server. The queue at half time was more than half the length of the stand. Mad that we don't have some vending machines in there.
Yeah it was busy enough that I didn't bother queuing. Similar outside, although the new queuing system in the tent is a good idea it seemed to take a good while to get there, we ended up going into the Caledonian to get beer as it was quicker.
I'll cut some slack as it was first game, but hope going forward more staff can come in and more stuff can be opened up. After all, it's all meant to be about the fan experience now isn't it ?
That's very poor @ryan_w_kirkby2. I feel that the club should replace with the correct one's when in stock as you paid full price for clearly unfit items.
Also noticed yesterday just after half time that the kiosks in the terrace and the away end were both closed ! We're they open first half and at half time ?

Get a Grip you lot
Absolutely @Steve_Peart
(and we’ll spotted)

I know how @micra feels now.
One member of staff in only one open kiosk serving the whole of the Frank Adams. Don’t think I’ve ever been so angry at a level of service.
‘The off-field experience is second to none’.
I’m still waiting for my Fetch order from last season.

It sounds like they might be better off just lining the Frank Adams with a bunch of vending and drinks machines!
Service wasn't great today unfortunately... Good job the football was great !
On another note, how did people find availability of stock in the club shop?
Arrived at 2.30 or so and only a handful of home shirts left, nothing in my size, so left it to another day.
Maybe they'd sold 500 by then, could have.
I think if you're going to bang on about second to none fan experiences, you need to be able to serve a cup of tea in your premium non-corporate area.

Fair enough, thanks for confirming.
I understand they can't stock 1,000s, and did wonder if it was just the case I'd turned up too late.
No harm done, I'll get one soon.

They were selling last seasons stock for the same price!! Why??!
The Couhigs don't do sales (idk why, but I remember being told that right at the beginning)

Tried uploading a picture but keep getting request failed with status 400?
I am unable to upload any photos due to status 400. The good Doctor is looking into it.
I am reliably informed that yesterday was the best day in the club shop ever
You been chatting to our insider at the club shop @OakwoodExile ? 😂
How many kiosks were open up there?
Sorry, that was just me testing an increased file upload limit. There was one kiosk open @ReturnToSenda.
Oh. Tbf I've only ever sat up there once, but I'm assuming there's more than one kiosk...

Ashtray outside the Vere was missing.
Small bar in the Vere closed meaning queues out the door.
There was soap in the toilets.
Seat was clean.in the FA
We won 3 ni!.
Bottom of the league in the morning, top of the.league in the evening.
Great to be back. COYB!!!
