If the potential Bishop deal doesn’t go through in time, I’d be more than happy to see Tyla Dickinson given a few games as number 1, until we get the deal done. Would be a good test to see if there’s potential for him to be our future number 1. (I imagine some will disagree with this, that’s fine if you feel that way)
Bloomers not kicking it haunts me. Two reasons. One, it was RIGHT in front of me and I was screaming for him to kick it out. Two, it was Bloomers. He didn't deserve that. And I always wanted him to know that it was ok. That he was so much in credit with the club that no one blamed him and it was just a cruel bit of luck. The photo of him on the pitch at Wembley at the final whistle v PNL (that those sh1ts at the FA won't sell me) crying with Stocko is one of the great Wycombe pictures and I hope that emotion was him exorcising any ghosts.
Don't really understand the fuss around Blackman. Decent keeper for us, but quite error prone. Doesn't really seem to have settled anywhere, which perhaps tells a tale.
Had all the attributes, but couldn't quite put it all together to become a top keeper. Good signing for Exeter I'm sure, but we can do better and have had several better keepers since his spell with us.
Whoever winds up as our number one, I’ve a feeling Josh Blunkell will be challenging him before the season’s over. I’m hoping he’s another Aaron Ramsdale.
Was he? I’d not heard that. Fact is, young man, when you get to my age and have been observing footballers and reading about them for over seventy years you develop powers that border on the psychic. Rest assured.
I’m going to ask you once again: do you post these doom laden messages just to provoke a reaction or do you actually mean the things you post? Either way you have my sympathy.
I saw Aaron Ramsdale playing against Wycombe whilst he was on loan at AFC Wimbledon as a 20 year old and I said then that he was destined for the Premier League. Three years later he was playing for Arsenal.
No sneaky photos of players we don’t know in the gallery ‘ hiding ‘ behind others. Just wondering where Mawson is training at the moment to prove his fitness.

In fairness there were quite a few other bits going on.
Craig's hamstring had gone so he couldn't chase.
No one stopped their winger scampering down the wing and delivering a cross.
We didn't win the header.
Our keeper's positioning seemed way off for the shot.
Whereas Blackman literally planted it on their man's head, which with one touch put Alli through on goal.
Not to mention the foul on Sam Saunders straight from the kickoff which put him out of the game. Did Blooms replace him?

If we have already signed Bishop (allegedly according to reports on the Gasroom) - why do we need Blackman too?
we have 2 non league GK as our 1 and 2 ar the mo lol

I thought the same thing but didn’t want to trigger anyone by mentioning it…
Ingram?
Fred?
I was thinking Heaton and Eze....
That link is just a quiz rather than inside knowledge surely.
As he's missed tonnes of returnees out.
Surprise announcement on Saturday?
@Wanderers82 replacing Gareth as manager!
Well his catchphrase would make a change from 'Press! Press! Squeeze! Squeeze!' but luckily he would be nowhere near the Family Stand.
That would be a rather strange commercial move. Signings sell tickets.
I think most of us will return our season ticket's
I thought this was a new signing in the gallery on the website, but it just turns out Wakely looks older than 21.
It can't be Wakely as there isn't a treatment table in this image.....
Doesn’t he just. A big unit, too. 6’4.5” according to the ever reliable Wikipedia. Solid, too.
PS. Looks like Kent have blown it against Lancashire.

At least we know everyone on the Gasroom has limbered up, completed a full pre-season and is ready for match-day.
That's Nathan Bishop in the golf cart in the background.
And Josh Blunkell in the foreground.
