You are quite happy with our manager (not just any manager either, Matt Bloomfield, our highest Football League appearance maker) being pushed out of their job?
Thank you for speaking for me @glasshalfempty. I don't know if he was pushed out, I will never know. I support Wycombe Wanderers FC, not Matt Bloomfield FC. Frankly, all of these discussions (from both sides of the argument) are becoming extremely tiresome. I can already see that for some on here, whoever comes in next won't be good enough, even if they get us promoted.
This is the worrying thing - from all the names bandied around so far there hasn't been any sort of consensus who we'd actually want.
A new manager has a heck of a job to pick us straight up, integrate 4 new signings who have barely seemed to have played much in months (even Berry has a very patchy record) and keep the pressure up at the top.
It is possible to both highly respect Matt Bloomfield's contribution to the club, whilst also believing that because he is now the manager of Luton Town, it's time to move on, regardless of the circumstances around his departure. The two thought processes aren't mutually exclusive.
I wonder if the likes of yourself would rather the next manager failed, just so you can say "I told you so" etc.
All this hand wringing over whether or not the previous manager got on with everyone at the club, what’s the f’ing point? Most of you gave less of a sh*t about the club moving out of the fans hands and into private ownership. That was the point you lost a say in these matters, not that the members really exercised any effective oversight in the first place. Nevertheless, if you didn’t walk then, are you really going to walk because a manager who has moved on may have not had all the control he desired? Please, if that is the case, do so already. I’m sick of all the whinging.
I certainly agree @Chris but not on every thread. Maybe we could use the Bloomfield to Luton thread and then those of us who don’t want to contribute simply avoid it.
Whether he was pushed out or not is largely immaterial now. He's gone. It's happened. He's managed 3 games for Luton, and we are managerless.
If he was genuinely pushed out, then of course I'm disappointed, it would've been incredible to see him manage us to promotion, but it doesn't change the fact that Wycombe Wanderers continues with or without MB.
I support the team and the club, regardless of who picks the team (cue Dan Rice picking the team conspiracy theorists).
I make a post celebrating Matt Bloomfield every day. He represented the very best of us for over 21 years. He’ll have my admiration and respect forever.
#cringe change the record....this thread is NOT about your love for Blooms , if you want to set a group up for that then please do so, sure you would be chief poster
This endless rehashing of the same divisive posts risks causing the enshitification of the Gasroom.
C’mon esteemed posters, let’s not turn this space into something more toxic like most of the rest of the t’interweb. Like many others, I come here for a break from the relentless ‘us v them’ divisions we see on the major platforms

If results don't change at Luton he will have tripped and landed on his face.
Yes. He's not our manager anymore. Whoever is our manager / head coach moving forwards will need our full support.
It took long enough for people to get over Ainsworth leaving - and that was with a fan favourite succeeding him. This is gonna be a helluva lot worse.
Surely talking about this kind of thing is exactly what the gasroom is for? It would seem odd to stop talking about it.

Enough with the bloody strawmen
This time next week and it will all be Uwe Rosler talk.

I wasn’t speaking for you, it was a question. Which you didn’t answer.
It seems what Matt Bloomfield did for this football club wasn’t good enough for you.

Better pressure than being at the bottom though.

At least Mr Empty has moved on from the Taylor & Morley loan spells ending being what ruins our season!

I see the bookies are now offering odds on Fergal Harkin.
This whole process is just proving that a good coach these days is hard to find
By this point, the hand wringing feels more performative than anything else.
You’ve just said it doesn’t if he was forced out as manager. That’s not showing respect.
It seems success isn’t a criteria for those in charge otherwise we wouldn’t need of a new manager.
Fergal: Ok team, I want you to flick to kick when they least expect it
Players: ?????????

change the story.....its boring...if you want to support MB go and support Luton
Did you actually make a post without criticising Luke Leahy?
did you make a post about not crying about MB? did not think so !
Roll on the next game. And a swift appointment after.
After everything Matt Bloomfield gave to WWFC this is best you can come up with. Wow. Such lukewarm sentiment.

Move on comrade. It's done.
Is it? I’m not so sure.
Again, it's possible to think two things at once.

All we are saying… is give puns a chance.
