Either way, the next time I get one of those painfully patronizing comments about Americans not getting humour (though to be fair, I am only half American anyway), I am going to put a toothpick in my mouth, stare at the person with a steely glare, and say:
That has made me laugh out loud. Our tike toke thing was less amusing but I’m not sure it’s a big deal. Maybe the Stevenage players will all watch it back before our next meeting and come out pumped up and tear us apart, maybe their supporters will destroy the away end in an act of defiant revenge? I don’t think so but then I’ve been wrong before.
Saw the TikTok (I’m not on the platform I don’t think I’m the demographic). Not funny. Not offensive. Not for me. Others might enjoy it. That’s fine. Some people like Mrs Browns Boys.
Just watched the Tik Tok , not particularly funny and for me a bit classless. We’re better than that as a club. I know we are trying to attract younger supporters, looking at the average age of our support , but surely there’s better ways of doing it.
Just watched it. TikTok isn't for me, but bloody hell, I was expecting something horribly offensive from the reaction on here. Some people need to lighten up a bit! (Great use of Will McKenzie sound effect too)
As I never listen to local radio I am slightly confused myself now as to which wavelength you would need (ie for Three Counties - those kindly listed by @EwanHoosaami - or for Wycombe Sounds) in order to hear Phil Catchpole’s unparalleled commentaries.
You’ll just have to fiddle with the relevant knobs (if you’ll pardon the expression).
The Wanderers are always on 98FM but on a small radio the tuning is very fine. I have others but not where I prefer to listen. I had not had the problem before and it worked OK after doing more fiddling and changing the direction of the aerial.
I'm no expert on the technical side of radio waves etc, but the weather conditions on Boxing Day may have contributed to the poor signal. HW is very much on the edge of the BBC3CR 98FM frequency range too.
Wycombe Sound106.6FM is another option if you are in HW but that would involve having to listen to me.
These are the various frequencies for BBC 3CR, but by far the best commentary is the one provided by @bluntphil, broadcast on Wycombe Sound 106.6FM - if you are lucky enough to be in their reception area.

"Bud, humour done left town a loooong time ago."
I’ll be honest, I barely remember the Leahy incident and definitely don’t recall their reaction. I think I’ve blocked those four months from my memory
What’s a TikTok?
In China it's a way of teaching history and civic pride.
Overseas it's a weapon designed to destroy the West by eliminating any sense of purpose in life. It's working well.
Leahy was out cold and their absolute goon of a manager suggested that head knocks happen every game and tried to downplay it.
But that should have been properly picked up by our club to complain at.
Different kettle of fish to putting some benny hill music on a lowlights clip and posting that out under the club name.
If it can cause havoc on the Gasroom just imagine what it can do to teenage minds.
Actual footage of the Stevenage defence chasing Kone.
If you were born in a year that started with 19 TikTok isn’t for you.
Stevenage deserve it.

A good. I no loner have any social media.

You’re welcome. Shame that, presumably, you can’t get Wycombe Sound on your radio. It’s 106.6 on FM apparently.

It's Stevenage. Fuck them.
Or 98.0 FM @micra
Thanks @EwanHoosaami.
These are the frequencies that they "split to" for the live commentaries @micra
It's not just wycombe, the majority of football league clubs produce this sort of 'content' on tiktok, even premier league clubs.
It's obviously aimed at the 12-21 'banter' generation, as an early 30s adult I can understand it, if not appreciate it.
Understand that for the 40/60 year old grandads on the gasroom it can seem akin to blasphemy.
Also has anyone ever logged into the gasroom whilst at Butlers on a Friday night before, shows the state of high wycombe nightlife now....
Flackwell and Marlow both at home tomorrow, still undecided...
Not sure we have many 40 year old Grandads on here or even 50 for that matter.
Perhaps I can. I must have a try.

Obviously standard and acceptable among the younger generations. Obviously getting old 🤦🤦
It would be interesting to see the Stevenage fans reaction but it would take a month to download it from their forum.
We’re not the only club who do it, it would seem. This was Tweeted during Killies vs Aberdeen.

People I knew used to be convinced that place was a laundering operation.
It'd have about 3 people in at the peak of a Fri or Sat night, while the Litten Tree had about 200 in just yards away.
But to do it in enemy territory is extra special.
Wonder if the opportunity will arise to repeat the exercise in the parish of the reverend Nathan Jones.
