The real issues come when sides have completely rebuilt stadia on the site of the old ones.
For example I believe the rules state that if you went to the old Dean Court then you need to "re-tick" Bournemouth as that counts as a new ground. Same as Spurs
I didn't realise Leicester's current ground was built literally over the road from Filbert Street. To be fair, there must be a fair few examples of that.
Barrow, Harrogate and Wrexham for me, on 89/92. At least one of those sorted next season. Hopefully Barrow come up as it's a real slog for a non Wycombe game.
I’ve often wondered - Does it count if you play at the ground?
I tick grounds off on Footballgroundmap.com and have included a couple of grounds I’ve played at, but is that cheating? (My defence is, I can’t do 90 minutes anymore, so inevitably end up watching at least part of the game).
Great question. I remember from my days covering Wales international games that Rob Earnshaw has scored in every division and I think Billy Sharp of Sheffield United has as well, but I doubt they have ever played at newer EFL clubs like Salford, Harrogate, Sutton plus Barrow after their return.
Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but there is at least a decent chance that the 24/25 PL could be exactly the same as the 22/23 PL, if Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United go down and Leicester, Leeds and Southampton come up. It may end up depending on the Champo playoffs, but I wonder if that has ever happened before - I rather doubt it.
97/98 was the only time all the promoted teams went straight back down, and they weren't replaced with the three relegated sides from the previous season (although 2/3 did come straight back up), so it would be a first!
Fairly sure Tony Cottee did all four in one season, will look it up properly but he started at one club, left for a managers job , got sacked and moved on again twice
"He began his journey at Leicester where he struggled to establish himself under new boss Peter Taylor and appeared just twice from the subs' bench before enjoying a short spell at Norwich where he linked up well with Iwan Roberts. He netted two goals for the Canaries but was then drawn back to London by the offer of a position as player-manager of Barnet who at the time were seen as candidates for promotion from the Third Division. His first game in charge produced a 7-0 demolition of Blackpool but although he scored regularly himself, including a hat-trick against Scunthorpe in December, the Bees hit a poor run of form, dropping towards the lower reaches of the table and he was replaced by former boss John Still in March. Tony moved on to Second Division promotion candidates Millwall to complete his trip around the divisions, providing some invaluable experience in the closing weeks of the campaign. However he made just two senior appearances from the subs' bench for the Lions before being released in the summer"

If you went back in our Conference days and as Barrow are still at Holker Street then you would still have it as one of your 92.

I'm on 86/92 but this will change after the season finishes as the 6 I haven't done are all in league 2 and 2 of the teams are in the bottom 2 now.
Gillingham, Harrogate, Swindon, Salford, Sutton and FGR.
I've never been a ground just to tick it off, I've either been to watch Everton, Wycombe or one of my mates play.
Spot on, I lost old Dean Court and old White Hart Lane due to them not being in the same location

Are there hard and fast rules? I know some people that don’t count a tick if the game finishes 0-0!
I use this website www.doingthe92.com to register my games and my sons.
Got some rules on there, yes Barrow would count if still at same ground.
@Commoner BBDM&CPK - you need to use this site to register your sons: https://www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/births-deaths-marriages-and-civil-partnerships/
I can think of a couple that would only count it if it finished 0-0
If they run out of crisps, it doesn't count
Adams Park hasn't counted for years then
On the subject of crisps anyone know if @Wendoverman is okay? I’ve not noticed their cleverly crafted posts for a while.

Oxford v Stevenage on Friday night at Kassams stadium.
If Stevenage win then Oxford could find themselves out of the playoffs come Saturday dinner time.

That's a good point - I wonder if any pro player has done the 92 🤔
Steve Claridge must have.
some of those Luton players must have ticked off a fair few on the way up

Hasn't Rob Earnshaw also scored a hat-trick in every division?
Spot on @Jonny_King
Yes, I believe so. He also scored goals in the FA Cup, League Cup, international level etc.
Doesn’t necessarily mean that he played at every ground, of course.

Didn't score for all but still pretty unusual
With FA Replays being scrapped it has just become much harder to ever play against one of these top four teams away from home.
That to any lower League football fan is surely a negative.
It hasn't really. It's still a random draw.
