Took me a few seconds to remember that there's 3 auto places in league 2 as was wondering If I'd missed some reason Mansfield couldn't overtake them. DOH.
Derby look pretty much up now. They've got Cambridge and Carlisle left to play. Can only hope they get regularly thumped in the Championship, though they'll no doubt overspend their way to safety before begging the football family for help.
Hopefully f they balls up the playoffs it won't be too long now before winkelman pulls the plug and we can anticipate their relegation and/or bankruptcy. And a wonderful day for football.
I' once did 16 aways in a season, but it tends to be more like 2-5 these days. Fair play to anyone who does high amounts, especially in these days of VPN access to games.
The 92 would be a nice idea, but think I'm on about 40-45 and realistically I'm not going to boot in the miles to get to the distant ones.
I realised after having a count up in 2019 that I only had nine grounds left to tick off (plus another six where I’d been to the old one but not the new). It gave me the incentive to give it a final push.
It takes a significant amount of time, money and energy to do. My first was Loakes Park in February 1987 and ticked off Wetherby Road (No. 90) in May 2022.
I’ve also ticked off approx. 160 non-league grounds too which clearly puts me in a category with the proper anoraks.
I've done 56 of the 92 (plus 6 in the National League or lower that were EFL teams at the time). But none of Wrexham, Mansfield, or Stockport, so I'm very pleased all of them are coming up to L1. Barrow would be another new one too.
And from the Champ, hopefully it's two of QPR, Birmingham, Stoke, Huddersfield, or (very unlikely now) either Blackburn or Millwall. Haven't done any of them. Basically, Sheff Wed to stay up please!
So Mansfield might be responsible for MK falling short in addition to what they did to Bristol Rovers year ago? They really are like our butler at this point, taking out the trash.
We'll have to point them in the direction of Reading next season.
If a club (Barrow) comes into the EFL, does it count to have gone there for a Conference game? Or would I have to go again to watch them playing in the EFL...? I get that, for example, I’d have to go to the King Power to count Leicester, despite having been to Filbert St, but I’m assuming Barrow are still at Holker St?

Matt Taylor's thunderbolt free-kick for Swindon at AP in 17/18 was equally outrageous imo
Stockport and Wrexham promoted
great to see the Franchise choke v Mansfield too, let's hope they stay down in the basement.

All four teams in the L2 play off positions lost.

Barrow to come up please as I need them to complete the 92 again. Really do not want to go there for a neutral game!!!
I need them to get to 90, still missing Harrogate and Salford so well done to you on chalking them off.
Very much hoping Barrow come up for a grand day out there.
Long Weekend hopefully!
Absolutely! Long way for a non Wycombe game.
I’m also going around again with my son! He’s up to 85.
really struggling to get Newcastle tickets. They told me to join for £70 and then enter a ballot 🤦♂️
Also have a rule that if Wycombe are playing we cannot go anywhere else, so makes it tough 🤣
Newcastle away in the Cup would be perfect.
England have a friendly at Newcastle in June
I’m on 85/92. Could go up to 86/92 depending on who go up/down.
Don't know why everyone keeps misnaming the 91 club
Thanks, looked at that but he’s got three GCSEs that day and the next day.
as much as I’d love to go to that one!
90/91 for me. Just Anfield left to do. Nice to see there are some fellow ground anoraks in the house.
The spirit of the great Tomas Tickov must be forever honoured.
Am I remembering right that you lived somewhere like Carlisle for a year or 2?
Did you rack up a lot of these back then? Always with Wycombe?
I heard Carlisle only counts if you do it on a Tuesday night
Brings back memories of the "sing up gasroom" days.
Aye, Workington marra!
I think I went to more games at Adams Park during those two-and-a-half years than I did ticking off new grounds.
I have a list somewhere and think I visited approx. two thirds with Wycombe.
Fair play.

Not quite Russ levels, but probably competitive against almost everyone on the gasroom.
Am I being dense? Why 91 and not 92? Something to do with MK not counting?

Yes, that would be the one.
I have ticked it off, courtesy of free Coca Cola tickets about 15 years ago but chose not to go to the Playoff Semi after wavering.

There must be a tick-off rulebook somewhere...
