@bookertease He is merely cutting and pasting word for word what he said about GA and what he will say about the next manager then whining because someone disagrees. I'm not sure if lightning struck him in the lab and woke him up after two or three years or his mum finally bought him his own phone...but best to ignore for your blood pressure and screen time.
Long time no post.... I haven't been watching football getting on for a year now... I still come on here for a read though.
So my thoughts as I haven't watched any games etc. This is purely from the results and this forum.. Is Bobby C capable of making this decision (obviously he's the owner) but does he have an advisor who's capable of telling what needs to be said with regards to the results and quality? If he doesn't I reckon Matt will be here for the foreseeable..
To me it's pretty obvious what's going on. Owner gave the manager stupid contract extension when it wasn't needed, so doesn't now want to lose face, admit he was wrong. Is also in the process of selling the club and doesn't want to be the one who has to pay the manager off, would rather leave it to the next owner.
To me, if we lose today (we really shouldn't) it should definitely be the last straw, but I don't think he'll do anything for reasons above.
I feel slightly strange. In isolation I ended up quite enjoying it and felt better walking along Hillbottom Road after the game than I have done recently (I missed Bristol Rovers).
But.
That first half was just so, so bad.
It’s not irreversible, but on a personal level I’ve moved along the scale to ‘time is up’.
Applying the pressure to Blooms is pretty pointless - he won't walk - it needs to go on the owners. They're ultimately responsible for this mess. I'm slightly surprised they haven't taken more flak already tbh.
Comments
The whole thread have basically criticised him for something or other.
There's not one poster who thinks he's in any way immune to criticism.
There are a few who think anyone else bar an ex long serving player would have been dismissed though.

Some might call it arrogance
What we don't know is what budgetary constraints Matt is working under, nor do we know if belts are being tightened.
The transfer window still open and we'll know more when it closes.
Fingers crossed.
Not arrogance. Pragmatism.
I do actually think this probably isn’t far away from the ‘truth’. Although I’m not sure how close they are to actually selling to a new owner.
2 nil down to Fleetwood this has to be the nail in the coffin
Please no.
Matt.
You talk like a man now walk like a man
Any of the 45% reconsidering?
Yes
🎶 my son 🎶
I always gave you so much more than you deserved
No, don't come back
'Cause no one makes a fool of me, you've got a nerve to walk away
Mark the words I'm gonna say
Mister, you just made a big mistake
You think you're a man but you're only a boy
You think you're a man, you are only a toy
You think you're a man but you just couldn't see
You weren't man enough to safisfy me
Couhig out?
I am Blooms out now, sadly. I love him to bits, but that first half...
I didn’t think until today that it would be a good idea for GA and Dobbo to be reinstated.
Think what they could do with our current squad. We’re already playing in much more like their style - well, perhaps not in the first half today.
Dobbo in.
I think we have a good squad but they aren’t playing for Blooms, things improved once they went down to ten but that first half was awful.
blooms out sorry
Nice comeback, but mustn't forget this is against an absolutely hapless Fleetwood who have lost 5 in a row and are marooned miles from safety.
And that they absolutely played us off the pitch until the red.

He’s completely out of his depth and we are absolutely heading for league two with him in charge.

Giving flak to owners who spend most of their time on a different continent isn't the easiest though is it?
That's true, but even on here I don't see much criticism of them for the current mess.
They are clueless.
They've backed themselves into a corner utterly ludicrously extending his contract.
He has certainly lost the players now and that is very dangerous.
Have a whip around and @floydI could drive down to New Orleans and post a cease and desist on their front door.
