Gareth Ainsworth is an inspirational motivator and his talks on that subject are (I’ve heard) extremely impressive.
He and Matt Bloomfield are as different as chalk and cheese in their personalities and interpersonal characteristics. Whether that is a significant factor in the present situation, I have no idea.
Probably 1 place available if GMac is out. I would imagine that will go to Campbell. Although I would go with Kodua personally
apart from that we need as much experience as possible in my view. Just looking at the goal we conceded at Wigan Campbell drifted off into no man’s land leaving the edge of the box completely uncovered. Kodua looks more switched on to the defensive side of things.
As for Kone bring him on for 20-30 mins again and unleash him on Tuesday to start
In deference to @eric_plant whose wise words I respect, starting the match with Koné would probably be a bridge too far. So I disagree with @bargepole and @Midlander in that respect.
In my post at 8.46 am I had in mind introducing him (and, depending on circumstances Gideon Kodua) earlier than the 93rd minute. Alright, that still left nearly 20 minutes for them to make their mark but the players they replaced were probably pretty knackered by the 75th minute.
I agree with @Mandown’s final paragraph (again, depending on circumstances).
Playing Kone and Vokes would be a good partnership but most importantly it would give Vokes chance to direct Kone. Vokes strikes me as a vocal player and this would surely help polish Kone.
I think what I like best about Kone is he always seems an absolute handful when he is anywhere near the ball. Unpredictable and a kind of wildcard, and if we can get the defensive side sorted out, he may be just the maverick talent we need.
That may be the case normally but everything he's said in this post is something that Rob Couhig has also said on the record himself (other than the going down bit, because he still thinks we're getting promoted).
alot of people here just think Blooms is a king and is immune to critism, is pathetic really that people jump down your throat as they don't treat blooms like a messiah, get in the real world....his win % is 25%....let that sink in
Do you actually understand the concept of debate and discussion? Literally no-one has ever said on here that MB is beyond criticism. We are all somewhere on the scale where one end is ‘he isn’t up to it’ and the other end is ‘he needs more time.’
For a lot of us that isn’t a fixed point, but we try and articulate why we are where we are along that scale.
You are more than welcome to hold any views that you want and anyone on here is welcome to agree or disagree with those views.
All views on here are of equal merit (unless RC is posting anonymously).
What some people (well me for example) take issue with you is over the tone of your posts. I suspect that you are over 14 years old but pretty much everything you say on here reads (to me) as the venting of a spoilt brat.
If you imagine starting everything you say with ‘I think that…’ and ending with ‘what do you think?’ I’m sure your contributions on here will land a lot better.
(I’m the tall balding patronising old git* in Block R if it helps).
*Okay so that probably doesn’t narrow it down that much…

He knows we probably need a change, but won't call for it himself.

Agreed. I'd love to see that.
I too thought a Kone Vokes partnership would be interesting rather than swopping them over...but @eric_plant does have a point.
Though not sure coming on for the last 20 and the inevitable 127th minute equaliser/winner does much for the confidence either.
If we can find a system that works with a 2 man front partnership, I don't think anyone would be against it.

Yep, that's the sort of thing I reckon you could sort out in a couple of days
That's what worries me! I'm pretty sure it won't take us long to coach that unpredictability and maverick talent out of him...
I agree ,a couple of runout games in the Berks and Bucks cup will get him up to speed,….oh !!!!
The secret is out - Klopp to Wycombe!
Gaz to Liverpool would light up the phone-ins.
Tranmere maybe.
So is Fleetwood officially a "Must paper over the cracks" game?
at the last chance saloon.
Most certainly so!!!
Feeling positive this morning
COYB
he wom4 get sacked , Rob does not want to Spend as looking for outside investment , even if we go down ....blooms.most secure manager in the land
What? jeez you type utter💩

In that case, can you translate what @Blueword posted please. Maybe because it was very early this morning, it was beyond my comprehension. 🤷♂️
Just put him on ignore, then you don’t have to get annoyed by him.
It's difficult to communicate in text, but if you read it in a Borat accent, it all becomes clear.

It’s not just the win rate, it’s the fact it’s deteriorating by the week.
If we do win today it will be Bloomfield's 12th league victory since taking over and 25% of those will have been against Fleetwood.
Can we play you every week!!
No. Seriously. Can we play you every week? Please?
On the other hand, 25% against Bristol Rovers, so no problem.
