@Malone i think it's perfectly fair for those of us who were arguing at the time that had we seen out the Lincoln and Wigan games, and scored our penalties against Fleetwood, as we should've done, we'd have been sitting 12th in the table, to subsequently claim that we stood by our man...
it's also understandable that many a loyal chairperson may have wobbled, during the team's lengthy dip in form.
Apart from @glasshalffull I don’t think anyone on here could put their hand on their heart and say they were not worried about our rapid decent and concerns about the manager.
I was worried about the drop in form especially considering the squad but not as worried as some (first half against Fleetwood aside) as I have been watching Wycombe for a few years and have seen some poor runs...even under the twin Gods of Ainsworth and Dobbo.
I think it’s ok to be worried when you’ve won one in seventeen and don’t ever look like scoring, and then enjoy it when you’ve won three in a row and just put five past Swann’s boys.
If this upswing continues (the next couple of games notwithstanding) i'm happy enough to write our early season woes off to a manager making mistakes in his first summer transfer window and hope for better things moving forward.
For me too - that was when hope felt a little lost. Of course, since then we have scored 10 and conceded 3 in the league, which rises to 14 and 4 if you include the trophy. Some turnaround!
@micra I agree. That was my lowest point too. But I never actually physically stepped into the 'Bloomfield Out' camp. I just peered over the fence for a bit...
I was finally reluctantly Blooms out at halftime against Fleetwood. Of course, I am taking it personally that things have improved from that precise point.

Is this the time everyone who has been rightly concerned at our descent to the relegation zone suddenly pretends it was always all fine all along?
School's not out for a couple of hours.
Never in doubt.
Says he who expressed the wish (at half time against Fleetwood) to see GA and Dobbo back !!
Plus ça change. Not.
Half term.
It's half term I assume he's in soft play while his Dad plays Candy Crush on his phone in the burger queue.
Not everywhere.
Not in Bolton for example

Damn. Too late to revise my attendance prediction?

That's what I'm doing

When 'Blooms: The Man Behind The Legend' comes out to critical acclaim in 2040, it will be interesting to hear Blooms' take on his first year with us.
Half time against Fleetwood was the nadir.
I was so pee’d off that I commented on the matchday thread (to my own surprise) that I would be glad to see GA and Dobbo come back.
Oh me of little faith. Fleetingly.

Typical though. At HT Fleetwood I decided to get on that there bandwagon and it came grinding to a halt.
Wearing the quarters! Well done indeed!

Clearly a lesson there @bookertease if you had jumped on that band wagon 10 games earlier we could have been pushing for the play offs by now! 😉
The number of people who claim to have never jumped on the Bloomfield out bandwagon will continue to swell.
It’s like our own version of the gulf war protest march, which at last count was attended by at least 32 million people in the UK.
Almost as many people as saw The Sex Pistols at the 100 Club.

Sadly there's still time for people to get back on the wagon if things go south again.
Christ....I've fallen off the wagon more times than a stuntman in a Western.
We've got plenty of time left for both bandwagons.
Or the away fans who watched Carlos Lopez at Cambridge!

I was at that gig. The only 10 year old in the room.
I left the gig and was inspired to form Northside.....which ended badly.
