I’m not sure going direct to Vokes has proved very profitable in recent months. And isn’t he currently injured, in any case?
It’s clearly imperative that we field our strongest available starting eleven. But there will be a wider range of opinions than usual, in the context of this particular match, on what constitutes the strongest eleven.
Physical strength and stamina will be key and I take @perfidious_albion’s point about Garath McCleary being held back until the second half. Jason McCarthy’s more direct style might be better suited to this particular match and the expected conditions.
Somebody mentioned the pitch. Well I can tell you its extremely heavy. Halifax Towns game has been called off tonight due to a waterlogged pitch. Bradford to Halifax is 7 miles. Hamstrings beware!!
On the subject of downvotes, what petty, pathetic pleasure do some people get from giving them to an individual constantly? Maybe it started as a bit of a joke with @micra but it's obviously upsetting him a bit now, so why continue? It's no better than bullying. Grow up a bit.
Watching Blackpool v Peterborough shows how more effective our press was against Peterborough. I don't think I can recall Blackpool having forced them to pass back to the keeper once yet.

Eternally grateful for all the support.
Puts the whole thing into perspective.
@micra I just assume anyone who disagrees with me is not only wrong but quite thick. That helps. 😉
I'd swap Taylor to Butcher. I think his best position is just behind the front striker. However, I've not really seen him play at CM
I can’t see Leahy and Butcher not starting after coming off the bench on Saturday. Scowen’s return from injury will be carefully managed.
JMac surely gets a start if fit, possibly resting one of Low or Taff. Kone definitely will start.
Why on earth would we rest anyone?
Got to pick the strongest side available surely?
3 days to Stevenage with Taffs fitness history would be one reason in my opinion. Don’t forget a very important game on Tuesday too
In that case, there must be an awful lot of wrong and thick people reading my posts!
Absolutely. If we pick a weakened team and miss out on a Wembley pay-day as a result, then that would be pure stupidity.
I agree to a point. However the squad is now stronger in depth so rotation isn’t necessarily weakening the starting 11.
lose our next 2 or 3, because of injuries, we will be on the relegation line again.
There must be a balanced approach with 4 games in 11 days
Not sure the playing surface and weather will suit GMac, I’d have him on the bench to impact if needed.
If their pitch is as shit as it seems, I'd start Vokes and go direct.
If they disagree with ME they are wrong and thick @bargepole everyone else has to take their chances
Everyone seems excited. So this is a proper cup run then?
It is now!
POTD
Only if we win it.

Today is the anniversary of that glorious night on the ploughed field of Selhurst Park. It's an omen.
If only Eric hadn't already given out the POTD award...
So, torrential rain in Bradford in the morning followed by gale force winds in the afternoon.
Looks calm and dry in the evening though.

May I add my belated support to @micra .

Posh dominating Blackpool so far but missed a couple of one-on-ones. Could it come back to bite them?
@micra you’ve had 4900 reactions since the Gasroom introduced the measure.
55% of them have been positive.
That’s a pretty healthy measure of support.
Narrator: "No."

Sky have the trophy in their studio decked in light and dark blue ribbons…..
True, but a year or so ago (maybe longer) I had a 2 to 1 ratio in favour of likes. It’s the change since then that has mystified me.
I haven’t checked the stats for a long time because I was only too aware that the downward thumbs were proliferating..
Essentially, there are three of us who attract the most negativity and, ridiculously at 85, I am probably the most sensitive.
But I have been reassured by all the kind supportive comments and, from now on, I shall bear in mind the wise words of the venerable @Wendoverman.
2-0 Posh - if we get through, it is the completion of the trilogy.
