I've been told by staff in the beer tent that the wifi tower is knackered and doesn't reach the tills, so they're running off a phone connection, which slows things down. No idea if that's still the case.
Have to say I've not seen anything as bad as that hot dog this season - FA catering has been markedly improved.
That anaemic hot dog has become a worldwide phenomenon by the sounds of it.
Pretty embarrassing if you've been bragging for 3 years that food and beverage was your area of expertise and you were going to make it the best in the country, to say the least.
Re the ‘hot dog’ w.w.phenomenon : when Rob is next over from the States I would imagine the catering team will get a right grilling, or is that roasting, or should that be broiling?
My concern is the mismatch between the aspirational statements that big up what we do including the catering, wi-fi, overall fan experience etc. & what is actually delivered to the punters.
Constant quality control is the issue, I’m sure Pete was presented with an amazing sausage experience by the caterer initially but if three months later an inadequately trained person throws it uncooked into a roll and then at the customer we get this problem.
You need team leaders and inspectors they can be the same person.
Ah, that is naughty from them and our trust representatives.
/ Unhelpful, Bad for business, Bad for the environment etc.
I really hope they see the potential of getting easy access for people who might not have cars, lots of money or, already have to travel far just to get to Wycombe.
Seems fairly stupid to pish away money on a road that might not happen but not cover the easier option.
Can rank the Couhig ownership on a variety of categories (and possibly harsh to do so if there were few alternatives) but the ability to get us closer to break even seems to be further than it ever was.

So we’re sexualising teenage girls now? Freak
Any sign of a bus service?
It's been replaced by an ambulance for any hot dog eaters.
What ! The best wifi at a ground in the country is knackered now as well ? Already
It's pretty clearly a name pun that went straight over your head.
Historic post. The first person in the world to say X without adding (Twitter) after it.
always ahead of the curve😉
The tower was knocked out by a stray firework.
If the WiFi was working around the ground that sausage might have picked up at least some light heating off the radiation

I think he'll just make them stand under the hand dryers for 2 minutes
Correct.
To cool down?

Always eat/drink outside the ground. Bar is painfully slow and does overly sweet rubbish cider in Inch's. Food, as we have seen is overpriced swill.
The Cheesewurst from the German Sausage stall I had was great though, the price makes it harder to justify having one on a regular basis though.

credit where due : I use the hot dog stall by the gates regularly. Always tasty and well cooked. Suggest that picture is not the true story ?
the pies in the ground are still pretty good under the new caterers, aren't they?
Haven't seen a matchday bus for a while now. Plenty of pies & hot dogs but no bus!
Were there any on Tuesday or are we in limbo?
No bus last Tuesday. No word from WWFC.

No word from @glasshalffull either.
Surprised you want me to comment after your earlier attempt at sarcasm: ‘I know something you don't know, look at me, I'm big and important.’
It was clarified in the Bolton preview on the club website that there was no bus service that night and that they remain in talks.
I understand the hot dog question was purchased actually inside the ground rather than from the car park.
Locked in heated battle, a game of Tug of War over a WWFC extra long grey hotdog. Loser has to eat it.
It was taken down to make way for Rob's imaginary road
