Potts to pompey confirmed, good luck to Freddie , was great for us last season but feel we have plugged CM pretty well with recruits (especially the loanees) now for a CB (please Nige) and possibly a number 10!
Last I checked that was made up by that TC9 account, the same account that said Bolton would be signing Kone. Has a more reputable source since reported this?
if true, this is terrible , if he went to championship then fair enough , if he is staying in league 1 and does not come back to us then reflects bad as thought he enjoyed his time with us
Huddersfield are 2nd favourites to win the league. At minimum they are aiming to go up in the play-offs. Opting to go there is extremely understandable.
disagree, if we are as ambitious as the club say we are then we should be able to attract players who were successful with us, I suppose it depends on the contract length that they are offering , like CF who was offered a 3 year contract with Bolton and we only offered a 1 year contract, really hope we did not make the same mistake with Nige
pretty sure I read an article about this , the Bolton offer was to good to turn down based on contract length which offered more security especially as he injury record is not great
Would love Nige back, but I still think there needs to be some realism about our place in the football eco-system. However lovable we are as a club, we have a small stadium with small crowds, and though the likes of Bolton and Huddersfield are in the same division, they are a step up from us by any other metric.

Matt stated to the BFP that due to the injury situation, he might be looking to bring a few more players in before the deadline.
The PFA out of contract team is playing at Cambridge this afternoon. Given the proximity to Bloomfield Towers he could well be there.
Jamal Blackman is playing. EIGHT YEARS after playing for us.
"The years are too short, the days are too long"
looks like Pompey also going to sign Dion Charles , decent signing that will be
always rated him, and impressed when he was with us , thought he would playing in the prem if was not for injuries

same one I saw and pompey fans group reported that ...as you said its probably made up
That PFA out of contract team really doesn’t look very good. Dont fancy any of the players in it.
Dwight Gayle is crying....
For those, like me, dreaming of a return for Nigel Lonwijk, look away now.
He’s being linked with a move to Huddersfield Town.
worst of all worlds. We can't have him back, but one of our competitors benefits.
I know it's not really your specialism, but have you got any good news @glasshalfempty.
We’ll get to see him at Adams Park again this season at least.
I’m not very good at this.
I'm increasingly confident about Nigel. And I'm not a Huddersfield supporter.

Do I assume that we have restrictions on our wages and might not be able to afford him?
Wolves only want what’s best for Nigel, they only want what’s best for him. He should be happy, happy in his world.
The opening lines of "Four Weddings and a Funeral" spring to mind...

No. I would very much doubt this.
Did we really only offer Forino 1 year? Where did you read that?
I can't go into the specifics but Udoh is on more than twice than he was on at Shrewsbury.

Nigel signing for another L1 club would be pretty hard to take.
Nige was at Huddersfield’s game last night. Assume it’s going to be announced today :(

Where have the club stated ambitions? And how are we going to offer a 3 year contract to a loan player?
I’m just going to have a little cry.

When he was told that Huddersfield are managed by THE Michael Duff, one of the gods of CM01/02, he couldn't say no.
