Brad Young - The New Saints FC looks a real good prospect. Maybe worth a punt. He scored 22 goals in 25 outings last season after his move from Aston Villa U21s. Scored 2 goals in TNS’s recent European qualifying game. Bristol City seem to be interested in him.
One or two people trying to get rumours about Matt Phillips. Available and ex-player so 100% fits the data. I do wonder how people would see Phillips playing in our squad, personally no where for me. Extremely good player, wide attacking players we have a plenty.
Any mileage regarding the Matty Phillips suggestions? In my opinion he would be an excellent signing. Can play both wings, played 26 Championship games last season, vast championship experience.
I get the impression that senior first team players are well over £100k / year, so Wycombe wages are not only better than no wages but also better than the vast majority of the nation’s workforce. Add close proximity to Marlow and Amersham hill into the equation …

Have we had any players with the surname Hill?
I think we had someone called Mark Hill in non-league times but can’t think of any others.
Maybe like two positively charged magnets, the Chiltern Hills repel people sporting that name?
I think the ladies team had a player called Charlotte Hill the season before last.
Richard Hill was coach or assistant manager for a bit.
F Hill 1931-33
Charles Hill 1940-41
H C Hill 1945-46
Steve Hill 1976-77
Mark Hill 1982-84
Also, Harold Hillson 1941-42, 45-46
Matt Phillips
Cheers. Remarkably few for a fairly common surname.

Bearing in mind how well Potts did last season for us, I wonder if there’s another West Ham loanee just around the corner!!
George Earthy would do nicely.
Word is that he's quite a grounded guy

Apart from McCleary I’m not sure that we have another natural wide right player?
We need to dig a little more deeply before we bring him in.
You’re a card and no mistake, @mooneyman.

I only mentioned him because he has hill in his name
I know that, however I was referring to a report online that seemed to suggest he may end up back at AP.
You'd imagine his wage demands would be too high but you never know.
The report was actually on the Football League World site. Maybe take a look @Chris
He is 33 though and may welcome a move back to the area.
I think that's the one position we lack in depth...
Especially if he's missing the hills.
Matt Pip?
Brilliant, love it.
Not when he is currently without a club and 33....
Wycombe wages are better than no wages.... and he would surely be welcomed back with love from the crowd behind him.
Football careers are ridiculously short...
Sometimes you need to take what's good for you.
BTW.... as a 39 year old man. I die a little bit inside when a player 30-35 is considered past it
You’re just a kid; don’t get old !

I'm trying not to sir! I'll be fighting it all the way!
FFP will prevent us bringing in big money guys. Thankfully
