  • How did Campbell miss that?

  • Good game between two very evenly matched teams, wnjoying the progressive evolution of our style to one where we are comfortable passing the ball around, but always looking for the quick transition to the final third if available. We probably had the better chances but 0-0 at half time is a fair reflection of the game.

  • Decent half against an extremely physical and direct Barnsley. Quite scrappy, but we've played some good stuff at times. Shame Campbell missed the chance to give us a lead I think we'd have just about deserved.

  • we are playing very well and should be up by one or two , TJ looks great, MCleary cross from TJ pass was poor . Barnsley are just hooligans, the worst of the teams in top 6 we have played

  • A win would be so huge here with Derby losing. We would be right back in it and drag Barnsley down a little too.

Unfortunately, we have not usually been as good in second halves this season. Mind you, that has changed a little under Blooms, with second half goals against both Fleetwood and Bristol Rovers to firm up the wins.

  • It feels like we are regressing a bit to knocking it long aimlessly.

  • Without tempting fate, Barnsley have been tripe

  • To be fair, we didn't let them play much in the first half; start of the second half they look like they changed formation & we stepped off them a bit, however we seem to have picked it up again after a poorishh 10 minute spell

  • Doesn't seem to want to go in today

  • Need Wheels.

  • And Freeman

  • Not read the thread but this is by far our most complete performance under Bloomfield. We’ve been excellent. Deserve to be narrowly ahead.

  • Unfortunately we have nothing to offer in terms of goal threat on the bench. Will take a point to be fair.

  • We don’t deserve that at all. Gutting.

  • That is a tough one to take.

  • 5,185 including 1,020 away fans is a poor attendance for such a big game

  • After this mornings downpour there would be a lot of parents not wanting to take their kids.

  • Cant quite figure it out. They've been poor. Passed with no intensity. We have a spell iron giving it away down the right and let them in.

If we are to be more possession heavy, we need to find a way to attack with it.

After 2 great games on Tuesday, McCleary and Wing were poor today at creating

  • We really ran out of ideas in the latter stages of the second half & particularly after they scored.

Overall we were the better side, but just couldn't take any of our chances, but a lot to be pleased with from us; though we have to look on it as a point lost...

  • Transfer window messed us up, no ambition getting rid of players and not having anyone to replace them. Barnsley will be playing us next season

  • We still have a shot, but it is getting longer.

  • Unfortunately we didn’t taken our chances today. In contrast, Barnsley had 1 clear cut chance and took it.

I thought as the second half went on we tired and started to lose our effectiveness, with Brandon being marked out the game by three huge CBs. Barnsley grew into the game and were pretty solid throughout, you can see why they’ve been picking up so many points.

Tough to take as our performance generally didn’t deserve to see us lose that, but we’re still very much in the hunt, just need to be more clinical.

  • It looks like we've made 7th our own. Looked at over a 136 year perspective it is incredible but if we finish 7th I will still cry bitter tears.

  • Kids not allowed to go out in the rain? No such thing as bad weather just bad clothing

  • we were terribly unlucky however our first 2 subs were negative, TJ and Chem should of stayed on, GMac should of come off had little impact

  • We're 8th. Peterborough are somehow ahead of us on goals scored

  • Disappointing again but we’re not out yet
