Genuinely concerned about Curtis, who fought so hard to get back to full fitness and is now missing again. I really feel for Gape too - both of these lads are absolute legends, but have had horrible injury luck for much of the past three seasons.
Chat of Wing's role has been odd here, he's played deep and been fine recently. Playing a 352 hybrid means that he has a bit of room to run into, which was hampered yesterday by Wheels playing as a 10.
What caught him out yesterday was us being less compact than against bigger teams, as we were expected to attack, and with Scowen charging about brilliantly and full backs pushing very high, it left him a little isolated in defence.
Not sure that quite fits around Josh and Gape, both were originally excellent straight off the bat as youngsters. Young has time but he won't get better without games.

The general development player routine is 1 year deal usually isn't it.
So 3 years for Young stood out as something really different.
Time will tell. But you've got to be making an impact on the squad to stay.

Al Hamadi has been knocking in a few goals. 3 in 7 I think. With all due respect to him, I'm happy that he's found his level.
He’s scored 5 in his last 4 games.
Hopefully we have a chunky sell on clause.
Or even better, an insulting buy back option

As kids J & G we’re playing in a lower League Two side. We are playing much stronger opponents now.
