Oh, and congratulations to MB - now only the second newest manager of the 92 (Hartlepool) - quite the veteran now. Soon to be third newest once Colchester hire, of course.
The way sackings go he will probably be in the top ten longest tenured in around nine months!
Agreed - it still has not really sunk in fully. I think the Shrewsbury game (and QPR playing Blackburn) will be in the first step in things starting to normalize.
I agree it is so strange at the moment. I remember feeling like this when MON left.
However, I knew it would happen some day but I am still so pleased to get Matt back as he will put his heart and soul into the task at hand. He is a good man.
Good luck to Gareth and Dobbo and I will always look for their results but I still dislike QPR. I think QPR are a bit like Derby, their fans seem to think they deserve to be in the Premier League, when actually they are an average Championship outfit.
Ive always disliked QPR, since a child, they seem to have a fair bit of support in the Wycombe area in the 70's. Mainly due to them having a fairly decent team at the time. Frankly i hope they lose every game.
This may be a bit unrealistic, but I hope we keep the generals concept going, along with players staying at the club for quite some time, as there is always the chance of it leading to a future manager just like Blooms.
In my ideal world (besides Blooms being manager until he is 70 and we are triple European Champions) Blooms would have a nice long run at the club and then there would be a general who has gained his own coaching badges, such as a Gape, etc.
I am very aware of writing this before MB has managed a single game for us, though!
I’m constantly being reminded that I need to heed Rob Brydon’s advice and make an appointment with Specsaver’s Audiology.
Might have something to do with my response when my grandson asked me if I had any gaffer tape. I told him I was sorry but we had no Jaffa Cakes, only chocolate digestives. Yummy.

Got my hair cut this morning and asked for ‘the Matt Bloomfield.’ They didn’t know what I meant but they will soon.

Hello, score three, we're scoring four
Would Lionel have been as famous with a ginger nut?
Oh what a feeling,
Gaz has buggered off to Ealing

Just started watching pre match drills. After Gaz's tenure as the longest serving manager, JJ's was the shortest reign of 40 minutes. lol!!
I do look back fondly on JJ's tenure, though - it was brief, but I think he really showed what he could do.
Ohh woo what a feeling when you’re dancing on Darjeeling. I’ll get my coat.
Some fantastic biscuit puns Gasroomer’s, great work.
I’ve tried so hard but can’t think of any at the end of such a rollercoaster week.
One minute and Gaz is gone and I’m thinking oh fig. Roll on 24 hrs and Blooms is back!
We're going to party, in Shropshire, in a fiesta, forever
Come on and sing along!
All night long (allnight)
Did Jaffa make such a contrived way to get in a biscuit pun?

Bloomfield wasn’t really a wafer so long really was he
The nickname has been staring us in the face…..
LIONEL!
As in Lionel Rich T
As others have said, what a week this was: custard to cream and back again every five minutes. I feel like I have eaten at least one packet.
Loads of excess energy for Saturday!
It was a great insight into what happened over the weekend and JJ came across as even more likeable than he was before!
I spent far too long trying to spot the biscuit pun in this.
You didn't see the cracker then.
I’ve spent most of my lunchtime trying to put hobnob into a sentence.
I'm just going to assume "even more likeable than he was before" is a reference to milk chocolate hobnobs.
Put some tomato soup on the hob.Nobody wants any other soup.
* crickets *
Shall I temporarily change my username to Gary-baldi?
Did anyone hear our new "Gaffer's" interview on Talksport with Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein?
Spoke very well.
Good words from the new Jaffa
