Exactly, I have seen many players, quite a few managers and a few owners in my 32 years supporting Wycombe. I will (hopefully), be here a long time after Couhig as jetted off back to the US for good.
Abstention? My recollection is that a show of hands for 'Against the Proposal' was counted at 11 and was followed by the pronouncement that as there were 161 members at the meeting therefore 150 were in favour. Did something else occur after that and, if so, what were the final numbers - for, against & abstentions?
Then other concerning reality is that Rob has no idea based on his comments today, about reality and realistic future gains . He cannot with a straight age believe he and missy and Pete can take this club to the champ again . Not if he is needing to squeeze shareholding away from a supporter trust in order to justify funding it. How much money does he actually have I wonder ?
Not really sounding like the “ Mr Nice guys , in it for the tradition and supporter ethos” we were led to believe and Mr Stroud twerked for initially ........
Truth is - he wants to build a new "arena" to make the club more attractive to sell on.
He will clear the £3m debt and make a small profit from the sale, as well as having had a bit of "fun" with the Worldwide Phenomenon that is Little Old Wycombe.
Anyone who could contemplate using "Up the Wyc" as a chant to represent the emotions of fans of a club from Wycombe with a 135 year history has no place here.
He’s actually beginning to sound and come across as really unlikable. It’s as if he has deliberately set aside the charm offensive now and doesnt care to pretend to be a true
When you consider that an American corporate lawyer is the type of person who would write to a children's hospice to inform them that their murals infringe Disney's copyright, I think he's one of the nicer ones. But that's probably because age has mellowed him.
I was always a fan (not) of the Woobo Rules OK slogan scrawled across signs and phone boxes back in the day. Maybe we could adopt/adapt that. Wyco Rules OK . Or maybe Couies Rules OK.
I would imagine many were close to resigning after yesterday's debacle, though in truth we need critical voices to at least hold on until next Thursday ready to hold the Trust board to account.
I sincerely hope no trust members resign, however, I believe all of the current board should.
We need all the members to remain & fight to firstly maintain the Trust & FALL's position of retaining AP for the benefit of the club, fans & community.
Secondly, we need to have a strong voice to push back against the Couhig's desire to own it all, including the ridiculous rental set in the proposed lease (I cannot think of anyone who would consider letting a property at 1/6th of its market value as a good deal even if it is an improvement on the current position of 1/10th). I would understand the Couhigs position if the Trust had demanded all of the income from the ground apart from ticket revenue, but we have always allowed them to keep all of that & even allowed a substantial rent rebate to offset the cost of the remedial works (much of which clearly hasn't been carried out as they are budgeting forward for those self same items.)
Sadly the board seem to have proved the age old adage about fools and their money. Sadly in this case it is our money...
Can the Trust board directors who monitor every comment on this site please tell us what the mechanism is for a vote of no confidence ahead of next Thursday’s AGM please?
Wednesday’s Trust meeting was proof, if any was needed, they are simply unfit for office.
Just heard robs interview, sounds like we either accept his terms or he sells up , genuinely think that was his plan all along , he has not idea or interest in football , he is a just a business man who wants to make a profit , the promises he made are empty and really does not care for the club or fans
Trouble is that if RC sells up, as the minority share holder, the Trust will be required to sell it's 25% share too and will then have a 0% share in the football club.
Feels like whatever we vote for as members we can't win.

Dipping Into a bit of philosophy mid speech.
Wonder if they had to do afew takes.
"Try it again Rob, a bit calmer"

i fear we are heading for a very ugly few years

I'm not sure a 12000 seater makes it any more attractive than a 10000.
Or do you think he'll stick around for 3 to 4 years to oversee the Booker resurrection?
He’s actually beginning to sound and come across as really unlikable. It’s as if he has deliberately set aside the charm offensive now and doesnt care to pretend to be a true
What exactly did he say? All I've seen was he flew off the handle at fans' questions?
UTW pre-dates the Couhigs by a good few years at least, but it'll always be divisive...

Really..... Can't say I'd ever heard it in the 55 years I've been following the team. But, if you say so.
Certainly like to know the questions that rattled Couhigs cage and his responses.
I'd also never heard of it in the 40 years I've been supporting, until they turned up.... anyway its dreadful, dare I say very chavy

It sounds like a derogatory comment about where they have taken our club.
Imagine if they'd taken control of a certain north London club (originally from Woolwich).. You can just imagine the slogan.....
Can someone tell me what happens if a large percentage of Trust members say no , as the Trust Board seem to have already approved the proposal.
I was referring to the voting form from today's Trust email.
“Up the Wyc” has never been heard before at WWFC until the last couple of years. “Up the Wycs” always referred to High Wycombe R.U.F.C.
I think quite a few trust members will resign.

Wasn't it the question paraphrased in the meeting summary as "Have we seen detailed costings that support the cash requirements going forward?"

Yes resigning might make you feel better but it won’t help the club
