Good to see De Barr got a new contract. Hopefully will get pre-season to show he's worth a more prominent role in the first team or, failing that, he gets a loan to a League Two team rather than a National League side. Eastleigh were a disaster when he joined and then he got a nasty injury so it's unfair to judge his time there. Good chance to impress potential loan clubs next week though as he'll be leading the Gibraltar attack against some pretty decent teams (Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Georgia) in the Nations League cos they got promoted last time out.
As the one he apologised to I agree and I wasn't offended. People can express whatever opinions they like but I still feel that this particular topic needs handling with some sensitivity. Nobody would like to see their jobs become the subject of public debate.

It's clear Horgan is a popular player on here, and I like him too, he's got class, but does anyone else find his complete lack of goals frustrating/puzzling? I used to have similar feelings about Ian Stonebridge.
It would be great for him to add to the goals tally, but he’s right up there with assists and unfortunately there’s not a stat for making the team tick.
I suspect all of the players offered new terms will take them for another tilt at the League One title. If they do I quite like the look of our squad. Hopefully Daryl Horgan, stung by Gasroom criticism, will have the season of his life.
