Nothing especially remarkable about that game but it gives me a very good feeling about the remainder of the season. A 2-0 away win with very minimal fuss is extremely encouraging.
7 points from the last 3 is a great return (incredible that we’re able to do that against the likes of Sunderland, Charlton and Bolton) and really sets us up nicely for Saturday.
We also don’t seem to have too many injuries, and we know that players like Wheeler, Horgan, Bayo, Forino etc. are very capable of coming in to plug gaps where required. So it feels like the squad is in a good position to maintain this little bit of momentum (if we can avoid any more Covid postponements).
