Think the childish "And it's Liiiiive" and Neville ignoring him wanging on about left footed players as something was happening he'd lost all track of that were his highlights today.
Don’t know if anyone saw any of the ‘cricket’ yesterday but I liked the idea they had of talking to players through a mic/earphone whilst they were on the pitch and involved in the game. Absolutely bonkers. Introduce it into football now!
They've had that in short forms of cricket for quite a while. I think they also used to do it (and maybe still do) in the early rounds of the FA Cup (albeit with managers, not players!).
I think we get a different commentary team in America, but the Man Utd-Arsenal introduction was a little over the top to say the least.
"These two teams used to be the twin pillars upon which our spinning orb was firmly founded. When Titans roamed the earth and unicorns flew close to the sun, it was Manchester United and Arsenal. When freedom was really free and hearts were soft and open, we all sobbed tears at the unbearable drama and electric tension."
I may have made some of that up, but you get my drift. I hardly ever watch PL, so glad I tuned in for the most seismic event of our times!
Awful business, without knowing full details I fear that some of the ref baiting at the weekend just serves to push people further away from the idea it's only a game. Sure most of us take it a bit too seriously or wouldn't spend significant time on here but this sort of thing needs running out of the game ASAP.
You might laugh but our game on Tuesday 14th Feb at Accrington is guaranteed to be less than 2000 with about 150 Chairboys in attendance and could easily be lower than the game tonight. Our most recent Tuesday night game in League One against Accrington pulled in 1740 in Nov 2018.
Forest Greens lowest attendance last season in League Two was 1829 on a Tuesday night in January against Colchester United. I expect in League One the game tonight will be over 2000.
In a bat sh1t crazy land that is the Premier League I guess no one should be surprised that Chelsea ditch Tuchel. Another one that was a great winner in interviews but a bit of a sniffy tw@t when things went against him.
Oh bloody hell. I like Graham Potter...but Brighton to Champions League and challenging for the the title? I doubt he will last long there and did not take him for a big pay day kind of guy.
Only a matter of time before Potter gets a big 6 job. Tells you just how highly he's regarded that he's being considered alongside (and seemingly ahead of) Poch and Zidane. Best English coach in a generation.

The live soundbite is just odd.
We know, that's why we're watching!

Somebody told me Jimmy Floyd has family in Wycombe. Can this be true?

What it does show, as always, is how quickly a "crisis" (a big club losing 2 games) can turn round entirely.
Aaand he's resigned

A Dev Eleven drew 1-1 with Southend this afternoon. Arnold Matshazi scored for us.

Accrington travel to Forest Green tonight in a game sure to record the lowest attendance of the season!

Maybe, but i reckon there's more Wycombe fans in the north west than there are Accrington fans in the south west!
Quite the rant from Mr Barton.

Cannot disagree with a lot of what he is saying there just not keen on his other pastime of punching people in the face.
Disappointed our shithousery didn't get a mention!
Loftus Cheek the best player in Europe at 18 or 19? 😂
Peak Eastern European football at Dinamo Zagreb, where there are two actual firefighters ready and waiting on the pitch perimeter
.
Tbh, he's pretty much right on all of that
An attendance of 2007 last night at Forest Green Rovers.
I suspect our game on Feb 14th will have a lower attendance.
Surely that goes without saying for most L1 and L2 managers and fans.

I think everyone saw that coming a mile off - they've been shocking this season

A shortlist of those three just about sums up the muddled thinking of those in charge at Chelsea. Three completely different types of manager
Yes, very well done to all who made it down from Accrington too. Not sure why you’re so snippy about it.
