Struggling to stay concentrated on this game. Wrexham are really nothing special. Birmingham in control, moving the ball around nicely, well organised and patient, if unspectacular. We’re going to give both of these teams a very tough game of football.
I’m not really looking forward to the Wrexham game, mainly because of the toxic atmosphere surrounding McClean and the inevitable reaction from our own idiots. It’s not going to be a nice day out , that’s for sure.
I think this is a great game, personally. High standard. Not a lot in it. I’m actually impressed with Wrexham so far - I didn’t think they were particularly good on the opening day. Birmingham look very solid at the back. Klarer looks fantastic.

Wow. The naivety of the BCFC players not going down with ‘cramp’ when well under the cosh for 20+ mins. Smacks of players that haven’t got enough experience in these sorts of big games. They really got away with one there. I’ve got a sneaky feeling they’ll get dragged right into the picture in the coming weeks as our fixtures are much more favourable. As for Wrexham, I thought they actually deserved to win it by full time. If they fix their away form then they’ll be right up there too. It’s agonisingly poised.
Playoff final is more fun (and we might see Lommy) but I'd prefer to get this done as quickly as possible so we can GET BACK TO FOCUSING ON THE ACADEMY
Wealdstone manager Matt Taylor has left to fill the vacancy at Solihull Moors. The Stones have resigned free scoring Alex Reid from Oldham, on loan again.
You might think 7 points covering the top 12 teams in 2. Bundesliga is mad enough. Then you notice Madeburg are top and have yet to win at home this season!

We will get something at St Andrews. I also think we will beat Wrexham at AP. Huddersfield are the real danger in my opinion.

Yep. Didn’t mention us once. Not once. Yet whenever we play on Sky+ you hear those two teams at least once or twice.
They were even wanging on about Stanfield pre-game, whilst showing a graphic which highlighted that Kone has 2 more league goals!

Decent result for us - uses up another Wrexham home game and they only have 8 homes left and 11 aways.
And it keeps Birmingham in touching distance for us.
We need any sort of win v Northampton now.

4 points from our next two games (win Vs Northampton and draw Vs Barnsley) would go down very nicely indeed.
We really need Birmingham to win the Huddersfield fixture.
If they do, and we get 4/6 like you say it's been pretty good.
But Northampton, whilst not the much argued "much win" scenario, feels a pretty important one to win.
