It’s just a real shame because it will likely get worse - these ‘14 year old lads’ will soon be ‘16 year old thugs’ or even worse. I used to be friends with this lad who is a Southend fan. His brother was one of the cowards who ultimately killed the Cambridge fan. There is no line anymore. I’ve seen it posted on here a few times lately, but this season there were times where I didn’t feel entirely safe walking back from football.
I remember the days when pre-season would be both sets of fans watching the game together.
It's actually a little tricky for the government to indirectly force privately owned football clubs to not rip off fans without forcing privatised rail and energy companies to not rip off everyone else, well it would be if they didn't make it up as they went along.
This one might be easier to do via EFL rulings if they had a bit of backbone and named and shamed those who voted against.
A 29yr old Premier League Footballer has been arrested on the suspicion of Rape. Horrible situation for the victim but who do you think the player is in question?
I really don't think it's a good idea to speculate on identity of an individual accused of a very serious offence but currently granted anonymity for legal reasons.
Think you'll need to go Twitter for a game of let's speculate on the accused in a crime, potentially harm a trial and ruin someone's career. Or maybe just don't.
Depends on your perspective I suppose but just because things have gone 'quiet' doesn't mean there isn't a victim or indeed perpetrator. No comments at all is probably best.
I thought England looked decent going forward but a tad suspect to the counter attack, really need to play Williamson just in front of the back 4 & Greenwood alongside Bright at CB when teams are set up like Austria
Having watched all of the first round of games from the Women's Euros there are 4 teams that seem to be significantly better than the rest; France who hammered the Italians 5-1 yesterday & played well withing themselves, Spain, Germany & Norway.
Of the rest, England seemed to play the occasion rather than the opposition so it was difficult to say how good they are, this evening's game against Norway is effectively the decider of their group. I think England have enough strength in their squad and are good enough to win that game.
Similarly Netherlands & Sweden sort of cancelled each other out, but both should comfortably win their other group games and qualify for the QFs & Belgium ought to just get thorugh behind France in their group.

Shrewsbury are having an insanely good window, would not be surprised to see them pushing for play-offs
Not sure about Falkirk's recruitment strategy
Great stuff from Reading, but this should be implemented from the top across the board. Some of the ticket prices in League One - our own included - are scandalous. https://twitter.com/ReadingFC/status/1544244768905089024?t=h1mdh_jFoL0R06u1wx18jg&s=19
3 responses is a shameful total
Hence the need for it to be made a rule by, idk, an independent regulator...

Quite right Dev.
Well done Reading, and also sort the name of your stadium out.
I don't think its right at this stage to call anyone a victim. Until proven guilty it's all alleged.
Look at all the recent cases that have gone quiet.....
Greenwood, Sigurdson, Mendy.

Greenwood on extended bail and Mendy due for trial in July on eight counts so not exactly sure what 'gone quiet' means.
Forest continuing to do some serious business. The Gasroom will be delighted!
As long as they beat Saudi Toon on the opening day I will be happy.
yep, Forest's owners are such fine upstanding people
For me, a little bit better than the Saudi state @eric_plant but we are all allowed our opinions.
Did anyone else watch the woman's Euros opener?

Stick BBC2 on if you want to see the franchise bowl with an atmosphere
Its a decent game & a good atmosphere.
Spain's women just seem to read the game better and have slightly quicker reactions, but Finland have looked dangerous on the break.
The Spain players looked the best we've seen so far technically.
No surprise there. Not a power in the women's game historically but heading that way - Barcelona have really taken off.
A truly brutally impressive display by Germany beating Denmark 4-0.
They provided a real lesson in how to properly play the high press.
What a game on Tuesday we have ahead of us when Germany play Spain

England Norway has got 1-1 written all over it.
