Sorry I did miss that. Emoticons have got me into deep trouble with the missus before. Who knew an aubergine in the Bolognese suggestion would cause so much angst?
Trying out french lower league football this afternoon, not sure what to expect as Bordeaux have retained some players, some fans and their stadium despite several relegations for going bust.
Always had a soft spot for Northampton. Fond memories of winning the Champions League with them in Total Club Manager 2005 using a strike partnership of Michael Owen and Tommy Rooney.
Just posted on another thread before seeing this - Bolton and Rotherham definitely spring to mind for GA!
If Blooms turned down Coventry I don't think he would go to another struggler, as Coventry have a much better squad than their position would indicate.
Rotherham perhaps but surely Bolton subscribe to the play it out from the six yard box (eventually) and pass it on the deck through the lines approach so beloved of our Matt.
@FarmerCee’s reaction to the thought of Gazball at the Toughsheet Stadium would be interesting.
I forgot to post this when I wrote it, having broken off to check the name of the stadium.
Apologies if there’s been any reaction in the meantime.
A little amazed he would go to another grueling relegation fight, but maybe they have given him some assurances about time to build should they go down, a la Darren Moore at Port Vale.
David Coote’s comments about Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are quite frankly appalling and both PGMOL and the Premier League have a shit storm on their hands.
All those dickheads wailing and crying about corruption because their team didn’t get a decision have just been enabled.
To be fair, I usually agree about it all being whining, but Premier League refs 'freelancing' in Saudi Arabia and UAE for serious money was an incredibly bad look for the league. Even if there is no corruption, it certainly gave the impression of being a little dodgy, given links to Newcastle and Manchester City in the region.
Thankfully I believe it was blocked from happening again a couple of months ago, so that is good.

Discussion is welcome. Basing discussion on made up things should be pointed out in said discussion. Unfortunately this logic has no truck stateside.
(And it seems on the gasroom, which is depressing).
The little smiley face was meant to say "I'm being ironic old chap. Please don't take this the wrong way and make another anti-American jibe." 😁
I think irony moved to America with me, sadly.

That gave me a good laugh!
Cambridge are being dismantled at Peterborough.
Still wouldn't let the guy on a hat trick take the penalty when already three up.

Stockport 4 -0 up against Bolton... how bad must Bolton be !?
Enough to carry Evatt off
But that would be bad for us.
Last week Wycombe put 5 past Stockport County. Now, they're going to get their revenge...
...on Bolton Wanderers
Better now than January

I reckon by the end of the weekend there will be a few more vacancies for Blooms and Gareth to be linked with

I wonder if the Cambridge manager will last the weekend, to me Cambridge would be a perfect fit for Gareth
Non league Sunderland West End lead 5-2 in the 92nd minute.
Lose 6-5

Crikey. How many additional minutes were there?
Who were the opposition and why were they playing at midday on a Monday?
Aaah, got it. You meant led and lost.
Never leave before the end!
Hopefully there is no evidence of dodgy betting patterns?
Lots of smoke around Ainsworth very close to being Shrewsbury manager, but not done yet.

Also, a little annoyed we have not played them when they are scuffling - they will be a different proposition under GA!

Maybe Rob Couhig is the mystery new bidder for Shrewsbury Town FC.
Apparently the Sunderland West End defence didn’t follow this advice.
