I think so. He was also previously with Weymouth and St Joseph's but left Weymouth to become part of the Solihull board and left St Joseph's to buy Lions
Most random transfer I've seen today is newly promoted Tunisian top tier side AS Gabes signing Gibraltar international Ayoub El Hmidi. No idea how that move came about.
He might have regretted leaving Magpies so early though cos they led most of the first half against Copenhagen today - Tunde Bayode scoring in Denmark. But then Copenhagen brought out the big guns in the second half as Magpies tired out and it ended 5-1 to the Danes.
Admire your updates and following of all things Gibraltar football and I know they do well with what they have but has anyone ever regretted a transfer because their old team went on to lead most of the first half of a game?
I dunno, if he'd been at Parken and played a part in the goal he might have got a better move than Tunisian Ligue 1 newbies. Even delaying the move until August would have entitled him to the bonuses the players will have earned from progressing to Q2.
There are several pitches in Gibraltar but only one is owned by the GFA, although that stadium is being rebuilt. Europa Sports Park is their temporary home, and the pitches at Devil's Tower Camp and Lathbury Barracks are property of the MOD so only get used in specific circumstances.
That Tunisian football is a significant step up from Gibraltarian football, the player you were talking about obviously thought so. Nothing to be ashamed of but no need to sneer at others
At Watford v Brentford today which I would have expected to be better attended, and just better. People who comment on here might be interested to know they only opened one stand for home fans and the catering was beyond hectic, massive queues whilst you'd imagine the cheapest staff it's possible to hire look into space, serve almost nobody and look like they've never seen food and drink let alone served it.
That really cheered me up after the disappointment of losing to Swindon this afternoon despite, by the sound of it, having 70-75 % possession. Probably feeling the effects of the intense battle with Watford on Tuesday and another lengthy practice session on Wednesday.
No indication that he is partaking in them but Wayne Rooney has been spotted walking past the camera of a live Sky News broadcast, from the Plymouth ‘protests’. I can see that blowing up for him over the coming days.
If the other ‘protests’ are anything to go by, he could well be looting the local nursing home before the clock strikes midnight.
(In jest of course, like I said no indication that he’s up to no good)
No matter what he may or may not be up to.... I think the blokes a pillock....personal opinion here so don't get on my case....the only thing I like about the bloke is that we are the same age and he looks 50 and I look 30...... I don't.... I look about my age but if I stood next to him I feel I'd look 30!!
'pillock' is a word my dad used to use liberally whilst watching sport whilst I was a lad but stopped after I liberally used it during a football match at beavers.
Seems like an acceptable substitute for more insulting words. Must remember to use it.
I'm not saying Rooney is anything but a brilliant tactician, but when he walked in to Birmingham and saw the tactics board with the X's and O's, he started playing tic-tac-toe.
Which reminded me of a word used by the late, much missed Bill Turnbull on one occasion (and possibly others) to describe a certain match referee. A nincompoop. Classier alternative to pillock, perhaps.

Is that Mark Palmer who was at Wycombe for a couple of hours?

Shocked to see Man City cheating again after past punishments. Where will they find that £2m.
Down the back of the old sofa they are chucking out I expect. 🤷♂️

There's only one football pitch in Gibraltar so all the teams share it which means home and away don't really exist.

Oh
Tunisia FIFA ranking 41
Gibraltar FIFA ranking 198
Wales rank 30. Your point is?

Handbags at dawn between Argentina and France at the Olympics. Argentina such bad losers. Bad winners to in fairness.

Brett Pittman joins step 5 side Baffins Milton Rovers on Thursday last week. On Saturday, he was scoring a hat-trick in a 5-0 FA Cup EP round win.

Forgot to press Post Comment yesterday evening !!

I can’t stand the guy and I wouldn’t want him anywhere near our club. I genuinely don’t understand how he keeps getting jobs.
His name Gary.... he's living off his name. Sooner or later he will hopefully fade into the forgotten
I don’t think “Rooney is a pillock” is a particularly controversial opinion.
This was confirmed not to be Wayne Rooney but part of the Sky News camera crew.

Did he lose those games too?

That’s a good one for ‘origins of words’.
Carsley is officially interim England boss. Dunno if that means Will Antwi will get to fill in as U21 boss in September or not.
