Ooh that feels messy. Looks like a falling out between two shareholders owning 66% between then and the third owning 33% but owed lots of money but not being repaid by the majority two. Potential to get very nasty indeed.
In my memory Walton & Hersham had a lovely ground and can’t remember any aggro at all. I would have travelled on the supporters coach back then though (mid 70s)
1972, FA Cup qualifying round, good atmosphere from the travelling Chairboys, but verbals from a group of Walton fans escalated into a bit of 'bovver'. Next thing I knew, I copped a fist in my face from one of them, and I got taken round to the medical room to be looked at. I too had gone on the coach, but a kind couple gave me a lift straight back home to Hazlemere, after which it was down to WGH to get stitches above my eye. Oh, and we lost 1-0 as well.
I would never have predicted the FGR-SW result but I did think Exeter may beat Barnsley. Exeter looked a really good side when they came to AP a few weeks back - in truth we were holding on for a point at the end.
Agreed, I thought Exeter looked very handy at our place. Thankfully Caldwell has got them firing just too late for a play-off push. I'm a bit surprised though, I didn't think he looked like a great appointment. Fair play to him.
Exeter have won 4 home games in a row, and still have to play Bolton and Derby at home...
In their final 8 games of the season, they also have the rest of the Top 7 to play! They could have a significant say on the final standings even if they aren't there themselves.
Was it on in Scottish TV areas? NI Euro qualifying matches only on yet another subscription service - not terrestrial, Sky, BT, Amazon or any of the usual services. Absolutely disgusting service to quite a bit of UK if Scotland and Wales same as NI
Only on Viaplay even in Scotland. I'd heard that about NI. Most international football now seems to be on Viaplay or Premier Sports - BT had Argentina's last couple of friendlies, but idk if that's a regular thing.
Apparently Liechtenstein U23 took the lead, everyone ran to celebrate but they were all on the pitch in their own half, which meant Gibraltar were able to kick-off and catch them off guard. Pure shithousery from Gibraltar U21s against older opponents (Gib squad was as young as 16, some Liechtenstein players were senior internationals)
It's looking tighter than I was expecting at the top. Any one of four could nick top two places. Ipswich and Barnsley hot on the heels. Plymouth and Sheff Wed fans must be getting twitchy. Would you rather be the hunted or the hunter?
Wow Wednesday are having a little bit of a mare at the moment drawing 2-2 tonight away at Cheltenham, though they did claw their way back from 2-0 down
Fun fact Sham 69 were named after a piece of Walton and Hersham FC graffiti which has been sprayed after they'd won the championship (isthmian(?)) in 1968/69 season. 'Sham69' being all that was left by 1976 when they formed.
For quite a few years after our paths ceased to cross, Walton and Hersham were the second best club in Walton. Ex West ham player Tony Gale and his son ran the more successful Walton Casuals. As it happened Tony lived in Hersham.
Walton and Hersham have been owned since 2019 by a group of students purported to be the youngest owners of a football club worldwide.
Walton Casuals ceased to be at the end of last season due to financial issues.

Each to their own! I prefer to support my team.
As do all supporters, obviously.
As you say, it's down to individual choice
Nothing to see here I'm sure:

Don't worry, Darragh Mouthalmighty says it's fine.
@ChasHarps You're not wrong there, as I can confirm from bitter personal experience!
Can you imagine the scenes if they got a points deduction that allowed us into the playoffs!?
There would be enough salt for everyone's crisps for the foreseeable!

I dare not mock Peterborough - their "revenge tour" in the second tier was amazing.

Spain are thrashing Scotland 73-27. Oh wait, I forgot possession percentage is not the deciding factor in a match.
Mad that game isn't on free-to-air TV over here. None of Scotland's are unless they're playing England or Wales.
Al Hamadi scores again.....
Fantastic result for Scotland, they played really well & hats off to Steve Clarke for figuring out a game plan to nullify the Spaniards.
In other news Exeter beat Barnsley to stop their climb up the table (at least for one game)
Seriously who would have predicted the FGR-SW result & this one, plenty of twists & turns left in this season I suspect

I think Wales' games are on S4C, not sure if they're available free-to-air in English - which would seem a bit mad.

All EFL games could be broadcast in the UK https://twitter.com/martynziegler/status/1641104836576911368?t=JjxraVZwxpEkro71sCkgGw&s=19

Not won in 4 now?
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I'll be hoping Oxford manage to pick-up 3 points on Saturday.

Athenian not Isthmian.

PNL believed to owe 25 million to its overseas owners. I can't see this ending well with or without the new stadium being built.
