Literally no-one calling for anyone to resign or be sacked.
A broader comment. Not necessarily about Rob. Politics, media, sport, every day life. We go from slip to mob very quickly.
So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed is a great read

Exactly, the comments were about the modern witch-hunt mentality, not a reference to Rob’s tweet.

Unless it’s a serious misdemeanour that breaches legal boundaries I’m not a huge fan of this 1 strike and you are out culture we live in now. Just saying.
Agree with you. He/she must resign/be sacked seems to be the first reaction whenever anyone gets something wrong
I haven’t seen anyone calling for him to resign or be sacked (sic), I have seen some people suggest that it was a mistake to tweet what he did and that he should rectify his mistake by way of an apology. It’s a pretty mild witch hunt if this is what you are objecting to.

As has already been explained above, it was a general comment about modern blame culture and nothing to do with Rob’s tweet.
I suppose this thread has already become less than transfer related, but I had failed to spot that it had moved completely out of the context of Wycombe Wanderers. My bad, for which I offer a sincere apology.

Any chance this thread can return to the subject of its title.

Favourite cheese anyone?
Joe Jacobson's is Port Salut...
JJ is a class act we already knew that. Maybe a new thread to speculate player’s favourite cheese.
The same guy always used to ask that question in the YouTube player Q&As and it's become a bit of a running joke. I'm pretty sure there was one player who DIDN'T LIKE CHEESE.

Is this the summer transfer thread? Any news?

Well, there's one player at least I don't think we will be signing.
Exactly, the comments were about the modern witch-hunt mentality, not a reference to Rob’s tweet.
I think the over-reaction to the over-reaction can often be as bad.
But enough of that, big game tomorrow.
COME ON WYCOMBE!!!!
Apparently we're still in negotiations for lavelle...
Any chance this thread can return to the subject of its title.
You're new here yeah?
Where's this being reported?
I tweeted Alan Nixon, I haven't got a clue how to attach it?♂️.... apparently its small fee we can't agree on....
well we can probably agree on a small fee...perhaps he can't!

@eric_plant relatively new - that easy to tell? Oh but I also have a huge dislike of social media forums such as Facebook and Twitter

Welcome aboard. You should get used to threads very quickly veering from their initial subjects.
I think it's all the better for it

I would like to think Rob realised his blunder and apologised behind the scenes and has moved on.... As we all should now from this situation
Favourite cheese anyone?

Or fruit, as was Darius Charles fame for mangos.
