Interesting sentence buried in a report in the Guardian Sport online today. “ Uefa’s executive committee has reportedly decided on Thursday that if leagues do not finish then qualification for Champions League/Europa League should be on sporting merit/points per game.“
So points per game may be gaining acceptance as a way of determining positions from the governing bodies.....
If that did happen then a lot of clubs would go under due to no source of income. No ST sales. No gate receipts No advertising revenue. Really not sure is going to happen here apart from government relaxing all distancing as from September and run the risk of it coming back, can’t see that happening

This is the UEFA report.
Quoting the Guardian seems to be the new norm in these pandemic times.
Could be because the Torygraph and Murdoch Times are behind a paywall and the Daily Mail is too busy with Meghan Markle to worry about news?
Surely what we were all waiting for, some interesting suggestions from some twitterers about what else it could have been called.
We are all enlightened liberals in here
Just seen this on the BBC.
