Give them some showmanship with it! Will we get any extra bums on seats at quarter to three is another matter but it can't hurt, in the vein of creating an event that even non-football folk want to be at.
Maybe this was what Rob was referring to about pleasing some of the people some of the time...
You could bring Rob out shoulder high on a throne on Saturday and I won’t complain (much!) but this was a vote of Legacy Members who should be told the result when it’s known.

In your opinion. The important bit was announced as soon as it was known. I've no issue with a bit of fanfare to announce the overall result. I've been dealing with the public for a living for 30 years and it certainly underlines the saying that you can't please everybody all the time!

I agree with @Slaphead. No problem with the PR stunt on Ssturday. I guess it's something he needs.
But an email to Legacy members with the rexult of the ballot should have happened as soon as it was confirmed.
I also agree. If nothing else, it would have been courteous to inform members by email of the result immediately it became available. The Trust indicated the result would be released on Wednesday.
It doesn't bother me too much, the incorrect wording on the voting form did though.

I am told that was also part of the plan and still is.

So am I reading that right and the confirmed result is not yet available to the Trust board?
Is the PR stunt coronation beinf arranged without it?
The problem is, you can't s send out an email to the members AND have the big PR stunt Saturday. If the email is sent out today, it would be all over various social media platforms 1 minute later, killing the "big reveal".
We know the only bit of any importance already, what difference does 3 /4 days make? If he got 75% or 100%, nothing changes.
I voted in my local Maidenhead ward election on Wednesday and I’ll be voting in the general election on December 12. I don’t expect an email informing me of the result in either case.

No, but you would expect the result to be published for you to know the details as soon as counting is complete.

I wonder what the latest figures are?
Whatever happened to Bristol Brenda? Apparently the beeb have been trying to track her down but I fear she may have left the building.
I wonder too @ValleyWanderer. Someone told me they’d heard that only six LMs voted against but I find that rather hard to believe!
Perhaps we will hear tomorrow. It will be interesting nonetheless.
Any updates on the vote?
I think the Trust said on Tuesday that they hoped to announce on Wednesday. Maybe they're waiting for Saturday now?
Perhaps Carrots has demanded a recount!
All will be revealed on Saturday https://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/news/2019/october/rob-to-receive-adams-park-welcome-ahead-of-kick-off/
Very happy for Rob to receive a welcome on Saturday but we Legacy Members should have be told the official result of OUR vote as soon as it was known.
We were told the only bit of any importance already.
We may know the overall 75% was reached but I’m entitled to know the actual result when it’s known.
All members should.

Where's that written?
The constituency for this vote was Legacy Members and in any vote the constituents should be entitled to know the outcome when its known.
And thus it will be on Saturday. I don't see the objection.

"I'm entitled"
You got the key part of the result as soon as poss.
Revealing Mr Couhig on Saturday to a 95% approval rating is a great PR opportunity.
Seems like outrage for the sake of outrage to me.

'Outrage' - I think not; just an opinion.
I am told that was also part of the plan and still is.

PR stunt coronation? I don’t think so!
Most of the crowd will have seen pictures of Rob Couhig at best. What better way to welcome him en masse.

In Maidenhead general election case, I suspect they could safely publish the winner long before the voting even took place.
