Or Bare Codgers ?
It would make a great calender, just one of those rosettes with the little chair in the centre, covering the bodgers Todger, of Wanderers veteran players or supporters !!
I agree with Lloyd2084, this would be great as a regular feature if only to prove that once you have a ‘label’ in football, it’s very difficult to lose it. The Rovers fan who thought we time wasted, feigned injury, pulled shirts etc had obviously made his mind up that this is how we’d play even before a ball had been kicked.
Great podcast again, Phil.
Phil, as an exiled Chairboy, your inputs in covering the club over the last few years have really made a difference to my life. It’s great to hear your passion for the club, and you regularly make me laugh on your commentaries. THANK YOU for doing this podcast, I am a bit of a podcast geek and to finally have a regular, quality podcast covering the blues is wonderful. Great job, absolutely love the opposition view, this has to be a weekly feature, brilliant :-) I’m sure the club will allow you to interview some players, some real personal player interviews occasionally would be a great addition. But as I said, fantastic, thank you!
Great stuff Phil. I think The Opposition View should be read out in BBC dinner suit accent. Swearing and stupidity always sounds funnier in a poshish voice!

That’s very kind of you to post that. You can probably tell, I really enjoy it all plus it’s a real privilege to do it. If it makes a difference to a few people’s lives too then that’s wonderful. It’s completely changed my life too
Perfick. Although his millions of fans might be dismayed to hear him declaiming the views of some of our Opposition fans! It's a Daily Mail article just waiting to happen...
I love the Mexican translation of chairboys. How about translating
Time wasting
Long ball
Diving
And all the other descriptions opposition fans and managers come up with
Just listened to both of these back to back. Absolute gold! Thanks very much to @bluntphil and anyone else that that has contributed.
Echo the sentiment of others that the opposition view segment is laugh out loud funny. Reminded me of that great commentary from one season re-cap video or another in which we’d beaten Rovers and the commentator offers the most absurdly one-sided narration you could imagine, ending with ‘it’s an absolute pig if you’re a rovers fan’!

Re Gasman's article, ex-Commercial Manager Allan Robson is mentioned. He retired as CEO at Northampton Saints two years ago.

Surprised they haven't mashed that even worse as "Choir-bodgers"

The Opposition View is comic genius. Oh please make this a regular feature Phil.

Got to be regional, for me. I'm volunteering for the Donny and Rotherham gigs.
@Wendoverman Sounds like a job for @BallroomBill!

As a fellow exile and podcast listener, i wholeheartedly second @Quarterman's comments. Thanks for all you do @bluntphil

"gestión del juego" (game management)
@braywanderer "Sabemos que esperar" (We know what to expect) - probably covers all three.
Un pase largo para el bruto.

Glorious work.
You must mean this one @Glenactico
Excellent stuff Phil. Who voiced the opposition view this week?
Mike Yarwood?
I thought they were the real voices.
