On reflection, I don’t think I understand that. There you are, I’ve said “I don’t think” without flinching. It must have been the context and a bit of overthinking that led me to make my original comment.
I think @EwanHoosaami's comment is spot on. Most of us are stuck, for better or worse, to watching Wycombe for the rest of our lives. Sometimes it is really easy because what we're actually watching adds positivity to the experience of a matchday. Other times however it really does become a chore. There were matches at home last season where staying at home hovering the house felt like it would have been a preferable option. My memories of Peter Taylor's stint were similar to that.
