In the league today, Moneyfields beat Abingdon Utd 3-2 at home, to maintain their 100% record. Disappointing that the league made them play on Easter Sunday. No more games are currently scheduled.
Congratulations to both teams on gaining promotion. The table reads Moneyfields 51 from 17, Abingdon 45 from 17, Wycombe 42 from 18.
Thanks for all the coverage this year Steve, i've really enjoyed it.
Worrying days ahead for womens football i think, as the FA decides whether to reward competitive merit or brand names, but that's probably a discussion for another time!
Tomorrow, Sunday, at Adams Park, Wycombe Wanderers take on Caversham AFC Swans in the Berks & Bucks Youth Girls U-18 County Cup Final. Kick-off is 4:30pm. I can't make the game but please get along to support the Chairgirls if you can, entrance is free.
The match is preceeded by two other matches, at 11:00am Marlow FC Girls take on Tilehurst Panthers in the U-14 Final, at 1:30 pm MK City Emeralds play Tilehurst Panthers in the U-16 Final.
Congratulations to the Chairgirls who beat Caversham 5-1, a great result. HT 2-0, scorers were Emily Wheller, Chloe Ball, Lily Chowdhry, Halle Poland and Maddie Woods.
Hopefully Englands ladies with a couple of Wycombe players will be able to do a complete re-enactment of the war of 1812 at our next meeting https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48851152

@Steve_Peart I watched Clapton CFC Women win 6-3 against Margate today. Entertaining game with a couple of spectacular goals and a crowd of just over 300.
The Chairgirls have been drawn away to Regents Park Rangers in the First Qualifying Round, on Sunday 22 September.
Rangers play in the Greater London WFL, one level below Wycombe, and play at Paddington Recreational Ground, and Hurlingham Park, Fulham. In the Preliminary Round they won 3-1 at Meridian LFC.
After announcing Dave Ward as their new manager today, the Chairgirls begin their league campaign on Sunday, at home to Moneyfields. Kick off 2pm at Flackwell College, Spring Lane HP10 9HE.
Moneyfields beat Wycombe twice in the league last season but, after some new signings and that 14-0 win last Sunday, the Chairgirls will be feeling more optimistic about this game.
I can't make this game but do come along to support them if you can.

Ladies lost 5-0 today, to MK Dons FC Women at Tattenhoe, MK, in their first pre-season friendly.
Their opponents have just renamed themselves from MK Dons FC Ladies. That seems to be the trend these days, and the way to go, I think.
Great news for the Ladies set-up

Chairgirls manager has resigned.

Didnt he just take the job?
It sure if anyone’s able to help but I thought as many people should see this as possible.
The Chairgirls won 14-0 in the FA Cup Preliminary Round at Wantage today. HT 7-0.
Goals from O'Connor, Barrette, Jackson, Todd, Harrison, Bagshaw 2, Inniss 2, Woodward 5.
Last season the Chairgirls beat Wantage on pens at the same stage of the competition.
@Steve_Peart I watched Clapton CFC Women win 6-3 against Margate today. Entertaining game with a couple of spectacular goals and a crowd of just over 300.
Would that the Chairgirls could get 300 watching them @drcongo!
Indeed. It was a raucous crowd too. Maybe if the two meet in a later round!
A match at Adams Park is needed this season, to capture interest, earlier rather than later.

FT WW Ladies 0-2 Moneyfields Ladies.
An early goal and a second half penalty saw the Chairgirls lose their opening league game today.
