  • Abingdon videos. I was waiting for these to be uploaded to their YouTube channel, as not everyone can, or wants, to log into Twitter, but they are not there yet.

Pitchside highlights. So good to see wingers running full pelt to the goal line and crossing. I miss that.

  • Today the U18s are at home to Derby County in the league. County have a W2 D2 L1 record and lost 2-1 at home to Bournville last week. At the 1878 Stadium, Burnham SL1 8JG. Kick-off time not stated, usually 10:30.

Tomorrow the Firsts travel to Bournemouth Sports in the League. Sports are the only unbeaten team this season, but a win for the Chairgirls would put them level on points with them. Sports' recent league games have been close, no more than one or two goals difference in the games. Kick-off 2pm at Chapel Gate, East Parley BH23 6BL.

Also on Sunday, in the league, the U23s host Abingdon United Dev, who are mid-table and five points behind the Chairgirls. Kick-off 2pm at the 1878 Stadium, Burnham SL1 8JG.

The U23s result was later changed to 4-2.

  • Highlights from the Firsts' game at Bournemouth last weekend. Not uploaded to YouTube yet, so has to be from Twitter unfortunately.

Very wet conditions for playing, and filming. For some reason I don't understand, highlights are now being shot in portrait. There are very few times when portrait is right for video, we see the world in landscape.

  • Tomorrow the U18s make the relatively short journey to Hayes & Yeading in the JPL. After losing their first two games, Hayes have now won three on the bounce. Kick-off, on a very cold morning, is the earlier time of 9:30 at the SkyEx Community Stadium, Beaconsfield Road, Hayes UB4 0SL. It is a 3G pitch so should hopefully be on. Note that if you are thinking of going, I have read that the stadium is now within the ULEZ zone.

On Sunday the Firsts travel to Warminster Town in the league. The Red and Blacks have chalked up three wins out of four, including a superb 2-0 win against an unbeaten Ascot United, and a narrow 1-0 defeat against them in the reverse fixture. Kick-off 2pm at Weymouth Street, Warminster BA12 9NS.

The U23s have no fixture this weekend, due to other teams having league cup and county cup games.

  • FT Hayes & Yeading 2-2 U18s

  • The Firsts' game at Warminster today has been postponed after a pitch inspection.

  • The next scheduled game for the U18s is 13 January.

Also on Sunday, the U23s travel to Penn & Tylers Green for a league game, second v third. Penn have only lost once in the League, 3-2 to the Chairgirls in October, when Shannon Read scored a hat-trick. Kick-off 1:30pm at French School Meadow, Elm Road, Penn HP10 8LG.

  • The U23s game at Penn is OFF.

The Firsts game at Milton is ON.

  • FT Milton United 0-6 Firsts (HT 0-2)

Hat-tricks from Katie Riddington and Molly Carter. It looks like they play Woodley United in the last 16 of the League Cup, venue TBD. The Firsts currently have no scheduled fixtures.

  • There is only one remaining Chairgirls fixture until next year.

On Sunday the U23s are at home to Kidlington Youth in the league. Kidlington are second, level with Long Crendon on points and three points above the Chairgirls, who have a game in hand. Kick-off 2pm at the 1878 Stadium, Wymers Wood Road, Burnham SL1 8JG.

  • The season recommences this weekend for two of the teams, the U18s have another week off.

On Sunday, the Firsts travel to Oxford City in the league. The Hoops lost 6-2 at home to Ascot last time out before Christmas. They scored a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw with the Chairgirls in September. Kick-off 2pm on the 3G at Marsh Lane, Marston, Oxford OX3 0NQ.

Also on Sunday, the U23s host Beaconsfield Town in the league. The Rams beat the Chairgirls 5-2 in the reverse fixture in September, but have only picked up six points so far this season, losing 10 games. Kick-off 1:30pm at the 1878 Stadium, Burnham SL1 8JG.
