@Malone - I think it was a bit more than one drinking episode. We have had disruptive elements in the recent past, do we really want to risk that again?
I believe Roger Johnson has admitted to having had alcohol dependency issues.
That and related mental health issues are becoming a serious issue, particularly in upper levels of the game.
If he has learnt to manage those issues, he is entitled to be judged by future employers on his footballing ability.
I suspect none of us are in any position to judge the extent of his current ability or for that matter his desire to return to Lg2 football. That's GA job.

If he has not nutted a true fan I would imagine the terrace would welcome him back.
Maybe Tesco and pierre jokes starting to wear a little thin now?
Maybe. I'm not ready to go back to club finance, attendance statistics and the EFL Trophy yet though.
@Wendoverman - Don't forget the fairness or otherwise of discounts for over 60s
Don't get me started on that one @mooneyman
5 year plan too.
And terrace yobs genuinely understanding why they can't shout whatever they like, as long as they label it "bann-tarrr"
And puns. Lots of puns.
