do we know which ex-players we have a potential sell-on windfall from? Hause? Harris, Ingram, ONien - any more possibles I have forgotten? But did their deals include one?
St Martin is due to be at the WWEPA dinner on Friday, he comes every year now and gets interviewed, so he may talk about his situation then. I'l let you know.
For a horrible (albeit fleeting) moment I thought Steve Guppy was 66. (Time goes unbelievably fast the older and slower you get) I’d been wondering earlier, tongue firmly in cheek, whether he could still cover for Nathan and I’d forgotten that the sainted Martin had been mentioned in the OP. (!)
That’s brilliant - in all those years why didn’t we come up with that one ? Seems wrong for a cockney classic to be pirated by northeasterners but good on ‘em!
Scott Davies on the back of the Mirror's football pullout, talking through his past gambling issues. I think someone posted similar before, but reckoned he'd gambled 250k away all in, and 7k in one day!
Still only 30! Seems a different lifetime ago he played for us.
Playing for Slough in their FA Cup 2nd round tie v Gillingham tomorrow.
Ditto Ewan's sentiments above. I must have read that tweet earlier and completely didn't clock it as our Murphy despite being in this thread! Hope they come through a dreadful period.

Steve Guppy fired along with saint martin from Ireland job.
Wonder if that might be his last management job now.
Probably easier just enjoying some punditry and media stuff now.
you'd have thought so. he is 66 now unbelievably.
Guppy might look for a lower league manager job though...........
There is a club in Bucks for sale that would keep him busy!

I echo that. Good luck and get well soon.
Browny saved a last minute penalty for Port Vale today!
Peter Murphy hasn't had much good fortune since leaving us. Wish him a very deserved turn of fortune for him & his family.

Absolutely heart breaking news. Best wishes to all concerned
