Reminded me of Alan Smith’s dressing room motivational (?) comment about having got Palace up to the Premier League and Simon Garner’s instant riposte about taking them straight back down again. Bet there was some barely suppressed laughter that day.
It's a crime against football. That quote from the Bristol City fan "we have coached the excitement out of Mehmeti" makes me want to throw Pearson out of a (ground level) window.
Pearson criticised his decision making in a recent interview, hinting that Anis was too selfish. He got dropped in the following game. Could do with Pearson getting sacked really, but that’s very unlikely as he’s started well given their lack of spend in summer.
Some of us also suggested that Anis could be a bit selfish in his early days - after he was sent off for punching Luke O'Nien Gareth kept him out of the team for a few more matches and when he came back in he was a changed player, far more committed to tracking back and passing to colleagues in a better position.
I'm not sure Nigel Pearson should necessarily be criticised for trying something similar if he deems Anis too selfish at the moment.

Mehmeti benched again and not getting minutes. Such a waste.

Nick Freeman
Nick Freeman scores for Stevenage who lead at Leyton Orient 3-0.
We could do with Nick Freeman
We don't need this kind of nonsense...
Fantastic goal can't wait to see it, but why does it look like Nick's been announced as a new contestant on Love Island?
Josh Blunkell has signed for Kettering Town.
Nick Freeman scored a great goal today, well done Nick!
Eze puts Palace ahead v Wolves
Chem Campbell assist for Alfie May goal for Charlton according to the highlights commentator.
I assume this was about Anthony Stewart?
Long shot. If Mehmeti is not getting game time. Possible Loan. !!
No loans now until January
Not until January (and not then either unfortunately.)

Not sure what this link might lead to until I’ve posted it but well done, Nick.
Seen it (twice) now. What a beauty.
If ever the phrase 'Nick Freeman!' was apt it was after that!
Mehmeti dropped from Albania squad. Bristol City are doing a sterling job at stalling his career, unfortunately.
A grand total of 90 league minutes this season
I hope he fights his way back into the team(s)

I did have my concerns that Pearson was the wrong manager for him

i recall someone on their forum saying that Nigel Pearson was coaching the excitement out of him. So sad.
Anis is too good to fall by the way side. I have no doubt he’ll come back stronger
