Written for him by the powers that be.
Open your eyes people!!!
Re: Sonny Bradley signs
Buy you suggested that MB has no influence over signings and this is the first one since the players I mentioned who have performed so well this season. Bradley played 41 games for Derby last season including the majority of the games which saw them promoted from League One, the division he is coming to now. My assessment is that someone who has played over 400 league games, many of them in the Championship, deserves respect especially as he hasn’t even played a game for us yet.
Re: Sonny Bradley signs
Completely agree, and it also seems to be overlooked that our manager has himself probably played against plenty of times over the years!!
Re: Sonny Bradley signs
Been away from the Gasroom for a couple of days and reading this thread at one go is some experience. Writing off a player with an excellent career behind him, a lot of it at the top of this division and in the one above, without seeing him play. We really have grown inflated expectations and a sense of entitlement remarkably quickly. It's not attractive.
Re: Rumour Mill
I personally think that's a great signing. Sonny is proved at championship level.
Re: Other Football
Yes - I think Neville (though he riles people with his opinions) and Paul Scholes are two of the humblest footballers when it comes to talking about their own abilities. Scholes is basically revered by many of the greatest names in the game and you'd never know it.
Re: Other Football
Very true!
Roy Keane's display against Juventus is one of the great ones of history. Scoring the first goal and dominating against the likes of Davids and Zidane in a hostile environment.
Re: Sonny Bradley signs
That’s fine if it’s what you’ve signed up for. Matt Bloomfield’s job title still says manager but it’s clear he’s not bringing these players in. I don’t think it’ll absolve him of blame when results and performances tail off.
Re: Sonny Bradley signs
A very good signing in my opinion. Yes a stop gap signing but that's exactly what we need right now.
I'm kind of happy the blokes experienced and has been promoted from league 1 a couple of times. He's 33 not 43 like some are acting like.
At least we know what we are getting. Better than a young kid that may or may not be up to the job ie Breckin
