Then McClean heads it against someone from about 1 yard away with his back to goal, borderline whether it was even hand. Again the hateful McClean rants in the linesman's face, and after 1min you're expecting a booking, but instead a pen!
Hapless J Rod still misses the pen and luckily squeeze the rebound in through the keeper's legs.

That’s a disgusting decision from the lino who needs to stay in his box. Absolutely useless. McClean pushes the bloke…. Should’ve been a free kick the other way if anything. EFL officials are utterly useless.
Arguably fortunate Dobson only got a yellow for a brutal challenge on a player who then had to go off, and no yellow for Rodriguez smashing someone in the face, erm Kone style :)

Wrexham dishing out quite a bit of “treatment” during the early stages. I’m edging towards wanting Stockport to win, given that we had the edge over them up there (!) and will be playing them on the last day of the season when Mike Dodds will have really got us firing on all cylinders.
Oh, dear. That’s not helped the cause.
I was about to say what a monumental final game it would be if we needed to beat Stockport to finish second and a win or draw would put them in second place. And in the playoffs……..no, let’s not go there.

Instead the linesman has changed his mind upon taking a minute of swears from McClean, then decided to actually give it as a pen. Shocking at pro level.
Also thought hitting a ball against a hand from about 1 yard away wasn't a pen these days. Certainly not when jumping and not even facing the ball. (If it even hit the hand not the back of his neck!)
Fantastic scoreline at Peterborough, annoyingly predictable one at Wrexham. As it stands they'd have beaten us, Huddersfield and Stockport in recent weeks. The only "top" team they have left to play is Charlton. Ominous.
Yep, the fear is we'll have to be close to perfect from here on in to take 2nd, especially when we'll be playing catch up over the next 3 game weeks too.
They just aren't a good team though is the one thing we can hold onto.
I do admire that they make the away opposition wait for a minute and then come out sprinting to strike fear into them. It’s the little things like that which are probably carrying them further than their technical ability. Long way to go though. No need to be so defeatist.
I made my peace with Wrexham going up a long time ago. The only question is whether it is because Deadpool is paying people off, or Dan Rice has brought a world of bad karma on us by his treatment of Mr. Wycombe.
