Last day nightmare scenario. Lose to Stockport and they go up. Blow softener - our loss prevents Wrexham finishing second and we beat them in the playoff final.
I see Man U are massively hiking up season tickets prices for them grasping old people who had a discount. Strangely the poor folk seem to think it's to force people who bring their own sandwiches out after years of supporting so Lord Jim of Monaco can get 'tourists' who spend money in the shop in. If any of my tax money goes towards that Manc 'redevelopment' I will be most aggrieved.
There's a lot of levels to what they've done by the looks of it.
Season ticket holder pricing isn't good news for OAPs, 50% reduction down to 25%, and a 3rd year of increases, but alternatively just a 5% general increase and they had held pricing for 11 years before hand!
It's the member prices for casual fans, the dreaded "tiered" pricing that a lot of clubs do with the Category A,B and C stuff.
I remember doing a couple of Arsenal games years back, was something like £25 for Reading as Cat C and triple that for Cat A as one of the cheaper prices, with some north of £100!
If i could remember very far back I'd be interested how Wycombe's season ticket price increases compare. I remember the big increase they smuggled in on the championship glory. They went up a bit this season gone too didn't they?
Bartolo been added to the Gibraltar squad after 4 players withdraw "injured" in the space of a week.
Given the recent allegations of bullying amd abusive behaviour against interim boss Scott Wiseman in his other job as women's team manager, you have to question whether or not these are genuine injuries.
Wrexham "denied" a pen for Smith diving at minimal contact, McClean rants at the linesman in his face, Sky commentator acts like Wrexham don't get many decisions "only one pen all season" (is that true?)
Then McClean heads it against someone from about 1 yard away with his back to goal, borderline whether it was even hand. Again the hateful McClean rants in the linesman's face, and after 1min you're expecting a booking, but instead a pen!
Hapless J Rod still misses the pen and luckily squeeze the rebound in through the keeper's legs.
Frig sake, if all of the above is what we're against we've no chance!
Comments
Bolton v Stockport getting very tetchy, not least amongst the fans. Much booing as the half time whistle went.
Morley subbed and then they mmediately concede goal.
Lots of negativity for Forino with the goal. Haven’t seen it myself but the word statue has been thrown about!

F/T Bolton 0 Stockport 1.
I imagine Eddie Howe's bonus will be ten Lamborghinis, a bucket of Richard Mille watches and some very nice camels.
Really good display from Newcastle, though almost found a way to throw it away late on!
Good to see such romance can still happen with these clubs lacking a bit of money.
See you in 2095
Newcastle fans: "Sportswashing? Completed it, mate."

I think the increase was on the back of Matt B guaranteeing automatic promotion @Malone 😊
(I could be misremembering...)
So, how do we want these two games to end on Saturday then?
In a mass punch up with multiple red cards to each side and long bans.
Peterborough win (obviously) and either a draw or a Stockport win in the other one
Anything but a Charlton win.
Both of the above will do for me. In both games.

No Bartolo at Slough then, do they have two other minor internationals and could Slough v Enfield be called off
Only a Dominica international but they don't play until June.
Wondering when Anis will get his chance for the Albaian senior squad
He’s had a great season for Bristol City but he’s up against two better players in Asani and Muci.
I reckon he’ll get his chance in June against Latvia and Serbia.
Admirable work from Scott Lindsey, now reappointed at Crawley the same season he left to join the Franchise.

One of XG’s largest underperformers (Stocky) vs one of XG’s largest overperformers (Wrexham). County look good in the opening phases.
Stockport on top for the first 20 mins? Guaranteed Wrexham 1-0 late win.
I genuinely think Wrexham are about the 8th best team in the division, and this promotion is going to be one of the most legendary flukes.
Wrexham penalty :-(
He’s got to book McClean here. Ridiculous stuff. Oh my god he’s given a penalty for that …….. that’s absolutely ridiculous
How is that a fucking penalty.
What the absolute friggery.
